Yes, I belive in aliens, because there's no proof otherwise and it's mathematically plausible, and I can't answer the second part of your question. I've heard all the theories and "witness accounts", but I just haven't seen anything for myself, but I'm not ruling it out.

The questions fairly simple: do you believe in Aliens and do you believe that they have visited earth?
...
Also, if there was one question you could ask a Alien what would that question be?
I love your icon. ATHRUN ANGRY. ATHRUN PUNCH.

...ehm. Yes, I believe in aliens. No, I don't believe they have visited Earth, nor do I think they ever will. I simply think that the universe is too damn big for this planet to be the only one capable of supporting life; unfounded, maybe, but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

As far as the question goes, that would really depend on the alien I'm talking to. It would probably be something about their technology, like "can I have your death phaser" or something, but that would be dependent on the technology at hand.

Yes, I believe this universe is too massive just to harbor just one intelligent race of beings.

1) Yes. There IS life out there. And not to be a dick, but anyone who DOESN'T believe it, really needs to think about some things.

2) No. No one has visited Earth in recorded history. The various governments aren't competent enough to hide that kind of thing.

There HAS to be aliens out there
the question is whether or not they've visited Earth or not (I don't think they have)

Yes and no. If they have, I imagine they would have exterminated the blight that is the human race, or at least close.
Humans are a blight on galactic purity. You sir! You are a blight! And you! And you, human. And you!

OT: Yes, seeing as there are far too many planets out there for extraterrestrial life to NOT exist in some form. However, any intelligent species that exists would likely be unrecognizable by us.
As for whether extraterrestrial life has landed on earth? Well, other than this possibility [http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=were-meteorites-the-origi], I find it unlikely for all sorts of reasons.

I believe they exist, but I am completely unable to imagine in what shape or form.

do aliens exist?
mathematically speaking its a certainty
Do intelligent aliens exist? now that's a different question, its entirely possible that we are the only intelligent species, unlikely, but possible.
Have they ever come here?
No, the distances are too vast for them to just drop by in a tiny little saucer, leave a single corpse then bugger off. since it is impossible to travel faster then light, (sorry star-treck but you aint never gonna happen) the best option would be a generation ship, literally a city in space were you hope like hell youre great-great-great-great-great grandchildren actually manage to land this thing on the damn planet and dont ponce about macking crop-circles.
as for the question, it would probably be something along the lines of "JESUS JUMPING CHRIST WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!"

I believe there's alien lifeforms. If we have alien life forms that are intelligent is beyond me, and I don't think there's a big chance they will be humanoid since evolution has simply shoved us in that direction due to coincidences. A meteor strikes the planet and destroys the mighty dinosaurs leaving small dinosaurs and mammals? What is the chance of that happening? What is the chance that there would be dinosaurs? Fungi starts forming relationships with plants in order to make life on land easier on both parties? Several waves of mass extinctions?
There will most likely be life on some planet. I wont say more than that.

I don't there has ever been any visits to earth and I would not ask them anything because they would not speak my language.

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds but that not every one of them is inhabited.

Therefore there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds.

Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds.

So, if every planet in the universe has a population of zero then the population of the universe must also be zero and any people that you meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.

Any double posts on this subject you see are ALSO the product of a deranged imagination.

actually, the meteorites thing is probably true, but not in the pan-spermia sense (were alien germs start a ecosystem going)
the heat and energy created by a impact would be just whats needed to fuse ammino acids and give them that little jolt into life, that or the vast lightning storms we knew ravaged earths surface at the time.

Statisics people. Hell, statistically speaking, it's unlikely that there arent half a dozen in our galaxy.

Rember, the technology which we use to observe space is still about as effective as using a large lamp and trying to see the bottom of a deep lake.

That's false.

1:If the universe is infinite in size and age then there are infinite stars and the light from those stars has had infinite time to reach us thus the night sky would be as bright as the day.

2: If the universe is finite in size but infinite in age then again the light from all those stars would have had infinite time to reach us and we would be able to see every single star that exists.

3: If the universe is infinite in size but finite in age then there would be an infinite amount of stars shining towards us and again the night sky would be lit up like the day.

Thus the universe is finite in size and age.

This is a simplified version of the reasons why the universe is, using our current understanding of the universe and assuming the known part of it isn't unique, considered finite in age and size.

That assumption is also wrong. If you have something that's infinite then a part of it can also be infinite.

I believe there are aliens.
I don't believe they have found us.
I don't believe we will find aliens before mankind slowly chokes itself to death. (But I'd really want to believe).

Of course aliens exist. It's statistically impossible for alien life not to exist when taking into account the vastness of the Universe.

Do I believe there is life, possibly even intelligent life, elsewhere in the Universe? Yes. Do I believe any of it has ever visited us? No. The Universe is incredibly vast, the idea that this insignificant rock in all that vastness is the only place capable of producing and supporting life is preposterous. Esp. since theoretically life could develop under just about any conditions, all it needs are a means to breathe, a means to feed, and a means to reproduce. There are no standards for what and how it breathes, feeds and reproduces. However by that same token vastness it makes it incredibly unlikely, assuming interstellar travel is even possible, that any intelligent life would even come across our little backwater planet.

Yup hell there could be intelligent life just a few dozen light years away but neither they nor we would know it unless they happened to be in one of the few directions we are broadcasting in AND listening to one of the handful of wavelengths we are using.

It's like trying to signal someone you don't know and is in a random spot on the planet in morse code with an ultraviolet flashlight.
