Well, the only "enhanced" editions I know about are the Witcher 1 & 2, and you get the enhancement for free if you bought the original. Go CDProjekt!
As far as the DLC bundled GOTY editions: not unless it's cheaper than buying all the DLC separately.

Sometimes. Usually if enough time has passed between the last incarnation, or if I change platforms. I had no problem buying Pokemon LeafGreen, as the GBA version was far more useful to me than my old Pokemon Red. Similarly, I have Street Fighter IV on my 360, but picked up Super Street Fighter IV on PC because I found I don't care about my 360 all that much anymore.

Sometimes. I own Shadow of the Colossus, but I intend to buy the HD bundle of it with ICO. I own both God of War and God of War 2 on the PS2, but I bought their HD upgrade. Doesn't even have to be all that upgraded. I owned half the current Humble Indie Bundle, but I went ahead and bought it anyway, because I can at least gift some of them to people.

I will buy a new/HD/enhanced version of a game if I really liked the old one. I have, like u stated, Persona 3 and Persons 3 FES. I also have bought CONSOLES just for re-released games. I had gotten rid of my PS3 a while back but when I heard about the ICO/Shadow release I went out and got a new PS3 just for that. I'm also getting a Vita for Persona 4 :D I think if you really love the game then money is no issue.

Yup, bought the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid and Prince of Persia HD collections, even though I already owned all of those games except Peacewalker.

Depends how enhanced they are and if I still play the original version usually I dont bother with HD remakes if I still have the original but I did buy Super Street Fighter IV despite owning SF IV because I thought the additions were worth the 9 pounds I paid for it (I refused to buy it until it dropped) oh and I bought it for PS3 when my SFIV was on 360 mainly because I could play online for free then.

Depends what they add. I've bought all of the pokemon remakes because they add two generations worth of updates and tons of content.

Depends what they mean by "enhanced" if it means extra gameplay content i would probably highly consider it.. if its just a graphical upgrade or some other "pointless" upgrade.. ill forget about it.. at least in Persona 3:FES you had The Answer stuff and in P3P you had the Female protagonist's storyline so that made them worth it

Does Pokemon LeafGreen and SoulSilver count?

Though not exactly HD re-releases, they are still just the same games with new content and running on a different game engine (i.e. Blue/Green on the Gen 3 engine, and Silver on the Gen 4 engine).

Only HD collections. Might feel a bit unecessary, but I love my trophies and it gives me one less reason to drag the PS2 to my living room. Pretty neat to have three games on one disc as well.

I used to wait with purchasing new games. If the one I was waiting for turns out to be a hit that'll surely have an enhanced edition I'd wait a bit longer. Did so with Mafia II and Fallout: New Vegas, that I can remember. Was going to purchase the enhanced edition of L.A Noire, but I'm not sure that it's a game for me. Poking a bit too far up the uncanny valley for my taste.
Wouldn't purchase an enhanced version of a game I already own unless it's cheap and has a shitload of DLC and features.

Let's see; I own a PS3 along with every God of War game and my all-time favorite, Resident Evil 4. So yes, I love HD remakes. However, if we're going by the other version of "enhanced" games (DLC and the like), I will think long and hard before going through with it.

Example: I have the bonus goodies for Resident Evil 5, but I could not care less for the multiplayer add-ons in Uncharted 2.

I have DMC1 twice, DMC2 twice and DMC3 thrice. thats DMC1, DMC2, DMC3, DMC3: Special edition and the DMC HD collection so you could say thats 7 copies all together.

I buy the HD versions if I no longer have access to the original version, or if I played it but didn't own it (I used to rent games almost weekly).

I'll probably pick up the Zone of Enders HD collection, because I rented one of the games for PS2 once and loved it, but could never find the game after that because I forgot the name of it. When I saw the previews for it, I was like "OMG IT'S THAT GAME I WAS LOOKING FOR AS A KID!".

Typically not because it is usually worse than the original. Also, if the developer gave a rats ass about me as a customer, they'd make it available for free for owners of the original game, like CD Projekt does!

Well I have the MGS HD Collection (and plan to get more HD collections), Dead Rising 2: Off The Record and I have Pokemon Leaf Green and Soul Silver, so I think my answer is rather obvious.

No. I despise things like that. "If you know the shoes need another layer of leather protection... finish the fucking job!"
