Rarely. The few that I recall in recent years were Tekken Tag Tournament, Valkyria Chronicles and MVC3. Of course, at this point I need to put on my nostalgia cap and regale you with memories of the awesomeness which was the strategy book for Master of Magic on the PC. It was huge. It was complete. It was full to bursting with useful information, stats, and actual strategies. It was, in a word, awesome.
Recently I noticed at Best Buy the Diablo 2 Warchest, which comes with the printed strategy guide. I find myself oddly tempted to buy it just to see how incredibly out of date it must be.
