Do you collect anything?

After watching some anime recently, i got thinking about what kind of things people like to collect.

Personally, i enjoy collecting games, anime, some manga, the odd model and animated films. i don't go so far as to collect everything of a specific console for example or buy 3-4 copies of each item for specific roles (i.e. one for storage, one for lending, one for use etc), i only collect the stuff i really like and try to keep it in good condition.

so is there something you like to collect or just hold on to because to you its just that good and worth preserving?

I collect 19th-century (and earlier, if I can get/afford them) editions of Shakespeare. I started with an 1896 Titus Andronicus.

i love to hoard too. i hate having to throw away stuff, but the one thing ill happily through away is paper, but only worthless advertisement stuff or woffle bulls**t letters. i still have loads of books i read as a kid on my bookshelves. again its only really the good stuff.

Eh, I suppose I somewhat collect animé and manga.
Nah, I think I can say it when I get to the point of just buying something because it is harder to get, and then don't even read it.
Such as volume 1 of Spice & Wolf >.>
Hard to find the manga here, so I just had to get it for my collection >.>
Oh, and I also have a few animé figurines, but nothing like the collection [user]NeutralDrow[/user] has, if I remember correctly.
I need more... where is my latest figurine, should arrive soon...

I collect Dungeons and Dragons miniatures. I have quite a few of the plastic collectible kind, and I have a good number of the pewter which I've painted myself.

I'm an avid table-top gamer, and I like having something to represent combat with. Also, they look neat and I like collecting things.

I also collect DVDs of my favorite shows (which barely counts), hard-backed novels by my favorite authors (I have every single Jacqueline Carey novel in hard cover), and... My Little Ponies.

Airsoft guns and airguns along with tactical clothing and gear. It's an addiction; I always need just one more kind of gun, an extra light, another rail attachment, a different vest, a few more grenades or an extra set of magazines Luckily my budget is making me realise how close I'm getting to the unreasonable edge
