I'm having tons of fun playing A Link Between Worlds on my 3DS right now, so no.

I love that Nintendo have the balls to stay Nintendo.
Going their own way has always worked out for them, and I have no doubt that they will remain successful i the long run.

Outdated? No, not really. Their biggest franchises have existed since the 80's and are still going strong, thanks to their astounding ability to reinvent themselves with new installments. Examples: Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Metroid Prime, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Luigi's Mansion 2 etc.

The fact that I still play NES/SNES games to this day should say volumes about what is considered outdated.

I grew up playing games in the 80s and those games are what makes me love video games. Kids today will NEVER appreciate old games, because it's simply a generational divide that can't be crossed. Today the term outdated is applied to anything that doesn't cost 10 mil to develop, or doesn't have gun in it with things to kill.

I consider games from the 80s and 90s to be closer to what I consider video games to be. Only because I grew up in a different time. That's all.

I'm glad Nintendo is still around after all these years.

Yes.

Mainly in the content, story, graphics area. Their gameplay has always been very good, but good lord they can do better in other areas.

Not outdated, just for kids / younger audience and partly the casual audience. The biggest flaw about Nintendo for me is that they are so repetetive, consistently using their boring character set.
