Do you consider yourself a fanboy/girl of anything?

I hesitate to use the term 'fanboy' because obviously by saying it, it gives justification to people who want to troll and insult me. As it has always done.]

But still, I remain an avid fan of the Halo franchise. For all its symbolism, themes, stories, characters and alien races (one in particular), it has remained a steady 'go to' franchise for me.

Also I guess I would have to say I'm a massive fan of Mass Effect. I've played the first game many times and I spend a lot of time discussing it at length on the web and well, you don't spend a whole friday night making posts about your favorite characters without being some kind of fanboy.

Don't really think I ever get riled up about other people not liking anything I do, since I don't see how that's relevant to my appreciation of it. If they have valid arguments against it then I can respect them subjectively weighing pros/cons differently than I do, and if they don't why the hell would I be arsed about what they think in the first place?

I'm certainly a fan of The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, God of War, Uncharted, and Soul Calibur series, as well as Rome, Spice & Wolf, Yume Miru Kusuri, and - fairly obviously - of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When they Cry).

I'm sorry but as a fan of wheel of time I kinda got say Explain your self on that comment about mat. I just don't understand what you've said. Are you saying your inability to replicate the character is funny or that leading a life similar to mat is hazardous to ones health?
