Well sorry if you can't keep up with a game like that. Personally, I found it to be the most intuitive combat system I've ever seen. All it needs is more stuff. I really still don't see what's wrong with it.Zechnophobe said:The combat system in Zeno clash was really, really bad. They, ostensibly, focus on melee combat. And then put you into fights with units with ranged weapons all the time. And then all you have in the gameplay are just these fights... There wasn't anything else to it. I really couldn't imagine why they would design this brawling system... and then make you fight 3 people at a time, where it broke horribly. Or where the enemies had guns. Ugh.PoisonUnagi said:D:
What was so bad about it? The only flaw I could find in the game was the linearity. Every other aspect just seemed perfect to me![]()
I love Star Wars, but the new trilogy sucked. It was just because Haden Christiansen can't act at all. I only watched 'em for the clones. I didn't think Return of the Jedi was nearly as good as the other two either.Sniper Team 4 said:Star Wars. Yes, I have the original version, the digital remastered versions, the prequels, the complete Clone Wars series (the short, five minute episodes one) nearly 100 books, and I watch the Clone Wars cartoon show that is on every Friday night. I'm not saying it's all good, but I am a fanboy. Nearly lost my temper with a classmate once because he was trying to be all high and mighty by saying how awful, ridiculous, and just plain bad the entire "universe" was. Thankfully, the class ended before I had to Force choke him with my rage.
I admit that my capacity for repetitive gameplay IS limited. And yes, it is a first person brawler... where every triplet of enemies you face will have at least one person with a gun. At least it was over only after a few hours. I think the momentum of my like for the sequel will likely not be observed as I will very certainly keep my position, and wallet, far from it.PoisonUnagi said:Well sorry if you can't keep up with a game like that. And of course it's focused on melee combat. It's a first-person brawler, not a first-person shooter. You get given guns occasionally, but not nearly as much.
Maybe you'll like the sequel![]()
Controversy about one thing or another is usually inevitable if you plan on doing anything important. I say if you have the facts and have done your homework, shine a floodlight on it!pulse2 said:I have a mixture of both, but I'm under the impression my non-fiction will stir up some issues, see I'm a contraversial person and have VERY strong opinions that probably wouldn't go down well even with the references and facts to back it up. Besides that, I just find fiction far more fun, being able to sneakily put my contraversial thoughts into a fictional story makes it all the more acceptable suddenly, lol.mikev7.0 said:Why is it other amateur writers never pick non-fiction to write? Just curious.pulse2 said:Thats awesome, best of luck to him, I asked because so am IZannah said:Aside from a few short stories in various fields, published through various contests, he's in the process of finishing his first (fantasy) novel. :3pulse2 said:What does you bf write? :OZannah said:Star Wars, the Elder scrolls, CoD (until Blops came), and probably my boyfriends writing![]()

Oh and to get back on topic I'm a fanatic (zealot is probably a better term) of non-fiction, and a mere Fanboy when it comes to Modern mythology and no, I don't buy comic books.
As for games I'm pretty vocal about Street Fighter and Mirrors Edge.
Oh and Sonic the Hedgehog. *flees*
Its fun creating your own world![]()

I don't think getting obsessed to the point you ignore all flaws to be a good thing, so I am only a fanboy of that which there is no downside to.
I like it!
Same with me, all of my friends make jokes about my Mac and iPod, and how my family in general just LOVES Apple, but I don't mind. I'll still love Apple no matter what.warprincenataku said:I'm quite an avid supporter of Apple. Usually when people go Apple bashing I get a bit defensive. Not overly defensive, because usually their statements are based on their own naivety and not Apple per-se.
