Do You consider yourself a recognized forum member?

I used to be somewhat "famous" on here. Nowadays, I doubt that many people know me. Unless it's for my avatar.

How could I forget that avatar? I think it's a powerful message that we could all take something from.

Judging by the amount of people who reply to things I post I'd have to say it's a no.

No, not really. I've made quite a few thread replies on here and have had about 3 replies back. Maybe I'm too used to the hate filled argument cauldron that is Youtube, where everyone is very eager to comment on everything. Generalisations are fun. Also things like avatars and those nicknames (infamous scribbler? where do they get those from?) I have no idea about, so it's not easy to recognise me anyway.

It's okay, really :'(

Well, I'd hope my avatar is at least slightly memorable. Even if I haven't done much posting... I'd like to think that people look at my avatar and go: "I wonder what that's from..."

But in the end... No, I don't think people have any clue who I am... xD. I doubt I'm recognized at all.

Maybe people know me as the guy who uses too many ellipses...

Not really. I've been here a while but don't post much anymore. There has been a lot of notable people come and go in the last two years and a massive increase in the amount of posters. To me this means that there aren't too many people I consider notable anymore.

For the most part the people that become noticed by the user base at large are the people who post a lot. These people generally ban themselves or get banned after a few months.

I'm probably not. I don't have the most memorable avatar. I'd like another, but I have no idea what would "sum me up" properly. Also, I'm not the most incendiary person you'll ever meet. So, that loses me a couple of notoriety points right there.

Anyway, I recognize most people based off their avatars. Though, I know a few regardless. For example, Caramel Frappe, I knew before he changed his name and (maybe) before he formed a user group. We had a nice conversation in PMs. I gotta say that I respect him as much as I can respect an anonymous guy on the interwebz.

There are others like Redlin5 and retyopy (the OP) who I recognize for various reasons. I could probably list a couple dozen people if I wanted.

Like I said, swellin' ma egoz.

Well, now that you mention it, you do make a lot of threads. I didn't even make that connection. Seriously, it's your avatar. Now, that I think about it, it seems that the really good avatars take away from the actual person's recognition, because people just recognize that. Hey, at least I don't recognize you for being a dick.

Well, he IS Kira. Light is kinda a jerk. The Death Note corrupted him.

As Zombie Fish, the guy with the awesome Name Game themed avatar, said, watch/read Death Note. It is an awesome series. Personally, I like the ending in the manga better, but that's a personal choice.

Well, it IS a nice avatar. It took me nearly 7 minutes to find it on google.

And I think I will read Death Note.
