I want to so so bad BUT I don't think it would be wise to blow $200 more or less on a tablet at the moment... >_< Help me...

You asked for it. XP

Not that great at all. Barely any color. No Shading. My eyes are glazing over it.

You don't need a $200 tablet to draw, only the willingness to murder trees and use their dead bodies as your canvas.

Yeah, sure my drawing speed put an end to quite a few men seeking to challenge yours truly.

Seriously now. Used to draw as a kid. Was a bit above average in it. I was better at painting, but not to the point of being willing to call myself an artist in any way or form.

Is that some of your work? It's pretty cool!
Well, no, that's just a piece of artwork someone made. However, if I were to be in that particular situation and were to draw on a man, there would be no doubt I would've sent my opponent to his maker.

The feeling is mutural OP. I used to be good in art and drawing to the point that I always get a compliment. Granted I was crap at drawing characters as in webcomic or superheroes sort of drawing. I also lack the willpower and motiviation to keep trying. I actually did consider Art for a degrees but I end up choosing something else cos I was offer a fondation. Needless to say my art skill has died which is a shame.

I haven't drawn outside of arts class since elementary school. As a result, my drawing skills are roughly on that level.

I have been cooking a fantasy scheme in my head where I learn to draw Studio Ghibli characters, and make drawings of them having a rock concert. All because of this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqZBf-HZ4Qw] song. It stirred the image of Kiki playing an electric guitar in my head, and it's refused to leave me be. I even assigned different characters different roles based on that band's discography: Kiki on electric guitar, Howl from Howl's Moving Castle and Ursula from Kiki's Delivery Service on guitar/vocals, San from Princess Mononoke on vocals, Pazu from Castle in the Sky on bass/scream, Porco on drums, and Chihiro on keyboard.

I draw though through apathy and self loathing of my skills they have fallen to the wayside. I have begun following a course to improve my skills though and I am making progress as I have never gone more than a month or two without drawing so the rust layer is thin.

I used to draw quite a bit as a wee lad. Used to think I was quite good and even considered taking it up again.

But seeing Zhukov's work made me realize I should just burn all my pads, sketches and doodles and use the pencils as kindling.

Oh well. At least I still have my guitar...

Was just supposed to be a satire of an American nightmare, as it is a US location, phone cam washed out some colour and reflects some unwanted environmental light which is annoying. Not 100% as am doing somebody else's demand for a birthday pic, but after that, will get back to doing the necessary bits that are annoying right now.
Beautiful. You have a patience in your work, well refined. Kudos!

Good for you. You have an amazing attention to detail... Your 3D renders left a definite impression on me in past art threads, and your appreciation of the (superior?) reptilian form will never be forgotten on my part.

They normally have a cream for that. Generally you must avoid pregnancy and operating heavy machinery for the duration of your medication cycle. Wearing a paper bag as well would not hurt.
