Do you evaluate yourself after multiplayer matches?

So today I finally played MW 2 again for the first time in like a month, it was actually quite fun, I got the most kills in nearly every match, so that was a welcomed sign of success.

Though after every match I always find myself comparing my K/D to everyone else's, as a way to kind of tell myself, "I got the most kills, big deal, but I also got the most deaths, or my deaths were too close to my kills so I wasn't really the best player, I must do better next time."

Does anyone else do this? Does it slightly change your playing style and behavior for the next match?

Doesn't change my behavior, because in UT3, i tend to have the most kills/points, and the least deaths comparatively. So whatever i do, works.

Only in MAG, because it actually helps a lot. For other games, I don't care.
However, it's much harder to evaluate oneself in MAG because K/D ratios usually don't mean a whole lot. It takes a bit more than simply stat tracking in that game.

I play for fun so I don't usually check. But if I did particularly good or bad then I will check just to see.

I tend more to look at my k/d as a joke. And I look at the others' only to see who did the best in slaughtering everyone else.

Finally! Someone that does the same as me.

I get REALLY pissed off if i see the MVP has like a K/D of 30/25. On MW2 its like "Yeah, Look who was 1887'ing then".

Nothing worse then when you're on a losing streak and theres nothing[/I] you can do about it.

Just play for fun, even in the hardcore modes. The way the people who care about there score and K/D ratio act is retarded. In a few years, no one will remember this anyways :p

no...I'm so used to being horrable at most online games I gave up on self evaluation...

but I do get excited if I'm in the top 3

and I flip shit if I'm number one despite having the most deaths and fewest kills, but most points

Of course I do but not like "what went wrong way" but what weapons work best for me. Like I suck at sniper rifles but I'm good at useing the FAL I found out through some good old fashion trial and error.

All the time. For stuff like League of Legends I always think to myself what I could have done differently, if that would have actually helped. And I think it works. Though, I'm not sure who wouldn't. Surely you think to yourself "Man, I'd have killed that one guy if I blablabla..." etc. Ah well, to each their own, eh?
But yeah, I almost always evaluate myself, shooters, strategies, the lot.
