Fighting against the first flying Colossus(I think it was the 5th or 6th one?)in Shadow of the Colossus.

Man when that thing fliped upside down as I was clinging onto its' wings for dear life I was filled with a sense of awe.

Quite a lot of games, but, there is one fairly recent moment when I did actually say "wow" out loud.

Playing ME2, right at the start when you walk to the bridge to get joker, to find the CIC is open to space, stepping through and seeing the destruction, and all of space above me through the wrecked hull....I was already loving the game and breathing pure ME goodness anyways, and this just made me go "sweeeeet".

Mass Effect 2. Picked this game up two weeks ago and haven't been able to put it down, it's just...beyond anything else out there at the moment. Gaming has a bright future.
