In the way that all my friends are at University, and due to drastic events last year I am not. So I sort of feel like an idiot. Also I don't use the word 'messy' and I am unsure of what it really means.

Hell yes. I should have been born in 1947, got a good deal of the 60s and 70s in my early adulthood.

Hmm. I hate Twitter, Facebook, Polish rap and hiphop music, techno, trance or emo. So yeah.

If it weren't for the lack of video games, and even computers in general, I would probably feel right at home living in the 60s or 70s. Classic rock FTW!

Not really. I might theoretically have done better in a previous generation (the 60s spring to mind, the advent of Zeppelin etc, what with me being a guitarist) but then again, had I been born in the 60s I would still have probably been the same person I am now, and without Zeppelin etc influencing me to play guitar in the first place, I wouldn't have started, so no rock stardom for me.

Besides, I actually quite like the gaming culture, I think most forms of our media (print, movie) are actually improving, and I also firmly believe it is only ever nostalgia which makes us look back fondly on the past. My parents lived through the 70s and 80s, and they did not like, with many reasons for this. Every generation has its flaws, we just only ever experience our own.

I should be born in a time where time travel is possible. Then I could be in the generation I choose.

Otherwise I was born in the wrong species. I should have been a Time Lord

I do.

Because my IQ's over 50.
Same here, buddy - it's always the case. I don't know where i would feel comfortable though. In Mass Effect-like future, maybe (so i could live in a faraway planetary colony or maybe underwater city or whatever).

I like some of that stuff, too. I'd much rather just have it all available to me right now than live in a time when I'm waiting and waiting and waiting for more to be created.

It's not like being a fan of works that are widely regarded as classics in the modern era makes you some kind of misunderstood minority that can't relate to your peers.

LIKE PANDORA?!

Sorry
Ermm...

Which one? I was playing quite a lot of Borderlands lately, and liked the place.

Yeah, an underwater city sounds good enough, lord knows it would take some degree of intellect to build that kind of structure underwater, let alone being able to live in the same thing.

And yet, Total Recall...
I could at the very least give it a try.

If technology would exist, just as it does now, in the previous decades, then maaaybe I'd consider...wait, no.

I'd have no reason. There wouldn't be as good technology, and I can still listen to all the music that has ever been made.

I really don't care about what other people wear, or what is the popular music these days, what seems to be the main problem people here don't like 'their generation'.
