No. I hate that idol in Japan that started it. She looks like an idiot. Also, that girl in the picture in the OP is a slut, and makes me hate that face even more now. Especially because she looks like someone I know that I can't stand.

I made a point to parody the entire setup a few years ago.

My friend Erin takes pictures of her self like that ALL the time, it actually pisses me off so much, her facebook is like a shrine to how much a poser she is.
We were at a concert once and she took a picture with her in the middle, doing the duck face, Hannah on the right looking gorgeous as always, and I hate having my picture taken like that so I pulled a stupid face and she actually cropped me out of it before she posted it!

Apprently you need to be a poser to be worthy of being beside her.

Sadly about 19 of my girlfriends on facebook all do that pose for some reason or other. I can pose but certainly not in this extreme way. I prefer just sitting naturally smiling at the camera, not trying to look "sexy" or in any way enhance myself. People can take me for who i am not my looks, just as my boyfriend has done =)

The following doesn't really apply to the picture above.. but sometimes it's like this, although it seems to be going out of fashion now.
