Do you finish books and games before moving onto other ones?

Books I tend to read until I finished them before I start a new one. Games I can't say the same of though. I can sometimes be playing four or five at the same time though it's usually a mix of console and handheld rather than all on one system.

No more than one or two games at once, right now I'm in the middle of my fourth I think Morrowind playthrough and my first Just Cause 2 playthrough. Books I usually read basically non stop, I rarely even have time to read multiple ones at once.

Wild arms I
Chrono Trigger

and for the books

For books I HAVE to finish one before moving on to the next one, or else I will never finish it. This is actually a problem for me... I'll start reading one, get bored half way through or find something else I'd rather read, move on and never feel like picking up the previous book again. I pretty much have to tell myself, "Ok, finish this book. You cannot pick up anything else until this one is done." And sometimes I'll end up with a stack of books waiting to be read.
Its actually pretty rare that I start reading a book and just cant put it down. Those real page turners are rare but I get one every now and then, for everything else...reeding iz haaardd.

On the bright side, as sad is this may seem, I get a sense of accomplishment every time I finish a book.

Rarely, if ever. I play or read whatever I'm in the mood to at a given time, unless of course the given book or game is so interesting that I can't put it down. I'm usually playing several games interchangeably.

Yes I usually finish one thing before I move onto another. The only difference in games are ones that don't really have an 'end'.

Nope, I play multiple games at a time and read different books before finishing them.

I have lots of books dotted around the house which I havent finished yet, I got bored of No Country For Old Men and moved on to a collection of Harson Elliot stories, read a few and re-read 1984 again.

Videogames are quite similar in this aspect I always have one game I keep coming back to. Damn I love Chrono Trigger.

I used to read a book until the end before I started a new one, the same with games but in the past few years that has changed. I start several other books and games before finishing them, mainly because I find it harder and harder for some reason, to find games and books which really fascinate me nowadays. I have no idea why that has changed like that.

Unless I quit that game/book, always focussing on the same book or game at one time. As for manga (I read them, they count) I will also go through one manga at a time, instead of various ones at one time, excluding a new chapter being released.

Na. I read several books and play several games at one time. I have game/book ADD. I can't keep my mind on just one thing. I think at the moment I'm reading about 5 books and playing somewhere between 5 and 10 games.....

It all depends if the book/game holds my attention. Examples being I just read the new Dresden Files book in less than a day and I never finished Mass Effect 2 because I got bored.

I have like 5 games I need to finish right now, I have to finish both Icewind Dales, Both Freespace games and start playing Arcanum so I need to sit down and finish some. I usually finish a book before starting a new one.

With games I have a bad tendancy to switch between multiple without finishing any of them. With books, however, it's one at a time.

I tend to read one book at a time. However, due to a class last year, I have four books that I'm reading at once.

As for games, I always jump around and often don't finish games.

I'm generally constantly in the middle of 5 books and 5 games at a time, however I'll almost always read a new book straight through before moving on to another one; however it can take quite a bit longer to play through a game's campaign than to read a book(at least for me), so I have a tendency to switch around more with games.

I usually only read one book at a time, but I'm always playing at least three games at once (currently the Saboteur, Alpha Protocol and Crackdown).

To those who only read one book or play one game at a time, why do you do that?
