Do you get sad if nobody posts in your thread?

No, not really, but I'm curious to see if anybody is actually disappointed when nobody responds to a thread you made.

Not really, though I do get a tad angry when no one posts in a thread I made asking for help with something like technical problems or what have you.

I made a big Christmas thread for 2011 and hardly anyone posted in it. I worked at it unlike my usual 2 minute creations.

So yeah, I feel disappointed but life goes on.

OT: I don't usually make threads but so far I haven't made a thread that has not gotten a response so I can't really say anything

I will add that where I do get peeved is when I make a really, good post that I put a lot of effort and research in before I made it. Really sat down and thought about it... Then no one replies to it. Little bells go off in my head saying "Don't think anyone read that one Stevie", well that was a waste of time and effort, I'm going back to my game .

More commonly, I find myself disappointed when no-one responds to a lengthy and well thought out post. I do not make too terribly many threads as forum browsing usually is a brief affair for myself.

Well, if you're feeling the need for some attention, the Religion and Politics forum never disappoints. Every thread gets some attention in there.

Nope, it's a pleasant surprise when they do though. I mean if it's a stupid thread then no but if I had what I thought to be a legitimately interesting thought or theory it's a little disappointing people ignore it all together.
