No. I usually trash the games I like too (maybe it's my inner critic) so I often agree with the down points he highlights even if the game is one I enjoy playing beyond those flaws.

he almost never gives good reviews and if the game you like is going to get reviewed its goingt to get hated on simple as that I dont take his reviews seriously because there not really reviews just random rants harping on every little thing its funny but not really somthing to take as a review
His criticisms are still valid and he gives good reviews a lot more than people think, they just have to listen to what he says regarding the game instead of how much he nitpicks it
OT: Not really even if he was a "real reviewer" i wouldn't care

No, getting upset about one persons opinion in the sea of a opinions of the internet (or reviewers as a whole) is silly.

Nope, hearing Yahtzee's reviews are nice cause he doesn't beat around the bush, he just sets it on fire. I love his dark humor and his reviews give me another opinion to go off of when I'm trying to make a game decision.

No, i usually agree with the points he makes, as most of them are completely valid, but i dont let that come in the way of me liking a game.

And just because a game has flaws doesnt make it a bad game, as there is not a single perfect game out there, its just not possible to create a perfect game.

I do agree with most of his criticisms, but for a game I like, I tend to overlook them.

I've never changed my opinion of a game based on an ep and it's never made me upset either. It's just good for a laugh and brightens my wednesdays a bit.

No, because he doesn't really like any games in all fairness. Also to paraphrase the great Yahtzee himself, video game devs are big companies and they don't need defending, especially not by me.

I listen to these for comedy mainly. It's pretty easy to spot that he's popular due to the comedy, rather than actual reviewing.

No, don't people watch ZP for Yahtzee's ranting and nitpicking to begin with?

However I am honestly surprised when he admits to really enjoying the games and praising the games, like this week's episode with Infamous 2 where he considered that the Infamous games were really well designed

Why? Its his opinion. Normally I watch his reviews and agree with his gripes about them, even though I like the game, his nags usually enlighten me to the point, "Well, never thought of it that way". Point is, its humor, an opinion, and thats ok with me.

I get more annoyed when he trash talks America; not just because he's trash talking about America. That's fine, I do it too. However, Yahtzee does it ALL THE TIME. Some of the jokes are odd since they're so out of context, like the Minecraft Review. Was the joke about America necessary? No, but then again, neither was the joke about mothers eating the other's fetus.

Yahtzee's reviews are meant to be funny, ands what's funnier than a fast talking man ranting (if I were to call it that) about popular things, only occasionally giving praise, accompanied by clever pictures that reflect the point being given?
Yahtzee has pointed out a few flaws that I didn't notice in games I like, but as far as upset? No.

The thing is that pretty much all of his points are valid, but he blows them out of proportion. I agree with pretty much all of his points.
Also he's not really designed to be taken seriously.

Nope xD

Well I would only get annoyed if he trashed a game, without a valid reason. So far he hasn't, or he has trashed an aspect of the game, ie Infamous 2 "Good game, but get rid of the fucking morality system".

My favourite stand alone games Mass Effect and the Total War series'(has multilayer but its always and still is broken). Now, mass effect... to be honest I mostly agreed with what he said... the side missions on the side are a pain... inventory shit... planet exploring... I actually didn't notice I'd not seen the enemy and died for 30 mins because family guy was on, and I was just hold down W to go forward.
He gave a small <a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/957-Darkest-of-Days>comment about the total war games once and said it only appeals to sad middle managers who can't tell the difference between fun and Microsoft Access. Meh, I like them :p

No, for three reasons:
1. It's his opinion and he's entitled to it, and
2. He trashes EVERY game.

Getting upset over it would be pretty childish.
