Do I love Yatzhee's reviews and his humour? Hell yes! Do I trust his opinions on games? Not in the slightest! Case in point, I loved Killzone 2 and cannot summon even the smallest amount of interest for the Portal games.

Not at all. If I like a game, someone who doesn't isn't going to make me hate it. I actually like his reviews more when I've played the game because I can agree or get a better idea of what he's talking about. And besides, he's hilarious.

Hardley. I loved Brink, Bulletstorm, and the new MK, and he trashed those games handely. Plus, what am I going to do if I dont like one of his "reviews" (I say it like that as I dont see it as much of a rwview...)? Write him an angry letter? I just go with it...

I don't normally let other peoples opinions change my own. he normally brings out some good points but sometimes/usually overplays just how bad some of these games actually are.

A bit. After his War for Cybertron review, the amount of people online went down precious hundreds. So now the game is almost dead because he doesn't cover multiplayer.

He trashes nearly every game he reviews. Knowing this, I never expect him to like my favourite games.
I always secretly hope he will, perhaps in the belief that him and I liking the same game would make me a cooler person, but I'm never actually upset when we disagree again.

Only when he flat out lies to justify his "review", or when people quote him like he's an authority on video games in general.

Apart from that, he's just another internet troll who manages to turn his rants into cash. At least he has a strong grasp of the English language and some actual wit, which is better than what you can say for all the dozens of other AVGN/Spoony clones out there.

I dont mind in the slightest. First thing, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Secondly, I usually see his point. Third, he hardly ever reviews games I actually play anyway

No, but I get upset when he likes a game I dislike. Case in point: Portal 2.

No, its only a game and if someone disagrees with me then so be it.
The man is a professional troll, and a very good one- he often overemphasises the flaws in a game that most reviewers ignore- I take his opinions with a pinch of salt but they're rarely wrong, just exaggerated,.

Not at all because he usualy points out the bad things that are in games i like in a humorous way. He is the only reviewer than is honest about bullshit things in games, so if I didnt want to hear about that i wouldnt bother with ZP.

nope sometimes it,s deserved and always take him with a grain of salt.
although a friend of mine hates him for riffing on HL2EP1/2 (although he went pretty mild on it in comparison to TF2)

Nope, because he's mainly wrong. I don't mean wrong in the way that his opinions are wrong, I mean wrong in the way that he constantly gets things wrong about games - from basic controls to plot information. He's in it for the humour.

Of course, I don't find it him very funny so... yeah.

Nope, same way I wouldn't get upset if a mate of mine trashed a game I don't like. YZ absolutely trashed Wet. I found the review funny, and I saw where he was coming from, but I still liked the game regardless. Opinions are like snowflakes.

I think if you get mad at one of his reviews, that's your problem. It's his job to drastically exaggerate everything he mentions about the game and be unfairly critical. Otherwise his reviews wouldn't be funny.

Only when it becomes obvious that he pretty much gave up on the game after an hour or so.

The best example being his Monster Hunter Tri review, which anyone who has actually played the game can tell, he barely got past the tutorial gathering hunts. Which should have taken no more than an hour, not the greatly exaggerated EIGHT hours he claimed in his written column after. Then proceeded to fight the very first 'Boss', and trash on the the rest of the system when he found out he couldn't just mindlessly wail on the enemies.

Still I wouldn't say I get upset, more it's irritation that comes from knowing that there are a large amount of people who completely eat up and parrot anything he says about a game, even if that information is just blatantly wrong.
Otherwise, I don't really mind when he trashes on a game I like. I tend to enjoy his videos.

Not at all. While I respect his opinion and more often than not agree with it, sometimes I disagree with a game here and there, like Smash Bros Brawl, or Borderlands and Bioshock 2 to an extent [I liked them well enough, though I do recognize they have flaws too] Even with that I still have fun watching his reviews of those games, his charm keeps me laughing every time.
