Dad took me out once years ago when I was about 12-13. I have my own shotgun but every time I took aim at a bird I just felt to bad to kill it. never invited me to even beat ever since then.

Yes, ive been hunting, but not so much for the killing of helpless animals, and more for the completely irresponsible drinking and playing with guns. Ive only ever killed a big, black crow... and its because he was fucking with my friend the chipmunk. I named him Paco.... the chipmunk, not the dead crow.

I've gone "fishing", but that was on a trip, and I put quotes around it because what I actually did was drank myself retarded and then lost my pole.

It was still a great trip though. I've never been hunting at all.

You've interrupted the balance of nature! Who knows what horrors shall now be wrought by that chipmunk!

I used to, back in the day when my pickup lines were thoughtful and provocative.

Wait, it's not that kind of hunting, is it.

'Hunting', it's such a cool word isn't it, I suppose 'Using a High Powered Killing Device Against A Creature That Has No Idea What Is Happening' is too long.

Fair enough to genuine pest control and food consumption.

If you want to hunt, strip down bollock naked and launch yourself bare handed at a deer/bear/wolf, if you kill it, far as I'm concerned you fucking earnt it.

as said earlier I'm too guilt ridden to kill normally but I am so fucking doing that now. well we don't have bears or wolves in the UK and I can't understand for the life of my why anyone would kill a deer. but we've got some pretty vicious chickens in the garden.

Have someone tape it and put it on youtube.

Never been hunting, killed all sorts of lil woodland creatures with my pellet gun but thats mainly back yard pest control. Waking up at 5am to sit in a tree all day smelling like deer piss isn't my idea of a good time.

I've been hunting many, many times and really enjoy it. I don't shoot much, though; they are so sad when they are dead, and I'm fat enough already.

As to stripping down and hunting naked, do you also shove the cord up your ass and generate your own electricity to use your computer? For that matter, shouldn't you just shove the CD directly in there and not use technology at all?

i haven't gone hunting. i don't have a permit, a rifle, or a desire to camp at 05:00. it would be cool to camp in a ghillie suit, but with the regulation orange cap and vest, it's just not enjoyable.

I find hunting to be a little depolorable (for the record, I hate PETA, I just find hunting for sport unecessarily cruel) but as long as you are eating what you kill, I figure that's alright. I have extra respect for people who hunt using bow/arrow (even those cool modern compound ones).

I've hunted for the past six years or so. We have an abundance of deer around here, and with the steady rise of food prices hunting this years seems sensible. Also have to skin and butcher them, not as fun but necessary.

I am a big gun enthusiast, but I don't care for hunting. I don't condemn the sport, I have no problem with it, but I just couldn't kill an animal like that. Now if it was treatening me (say a bear charging me), I'll shoot him dead, but I just can't do it for sport. I also don't fish, and yes I live in the south (US). I just didn't get the hunting gene. Like I said, I have no problem with it (if it is done right and by the law).

i am a proud hunter but the way i was raised was different than the yahoos that people mistakingly call my "peers". you only kill if your going to eat it, and yes it usually tastes good. also fair chase, you don't just kill randomly or unexpectedly, you find your target give it a head start and hope it was enough for the both of you. and yes it is only fair if the bird is flying.

I have gone hunting and plan on going hunting this year during deer season in new york. I don't feel guilty about it because we have a population problem with the deer over here. the problem is that there is too many of them (there are about 35 per acre of woods when there should only be 10) so they are all underfed and eating anything that starts to grow, so they have even less food later on. so for the population of deer to be healthier, some of them have to be hunted(plus 1 deer = nearly a year of the best steaks that i have ever had). also i heard that up in canada they were having a problem like this with wood ducks, there were just so many of them that they were eating themseves into starvation.
