Actually, this is a great idea as well. Sitting for long periods of time is horrible for you, and people who stand at work as opposed to sit tend to be healthier for it.AC10 said:I recommend switching to a standing desk.
Another "trick" is to cut out juice and soda - it's just sugar, and juice is usually not much healthier than soda to be honest - and replace it with plain, unsweetened green or black tea. If you can afford it, matcha tea (From a company like Eden or DoMatcha; both brands available on Amazon.com) is a great weight-loss aid and it's all natural, not some pill full of herbal stimulant crap that will give you heart palpitations.
