I loathe his music, I detest his whiny prepubescent voice, I abhor the mass following of insipid teenage girls he has garnered, I am odious of the subsequent affluence this has gained him and I despise the ubiquity with which he is mentioned in nearly every god damn music video that exists, as if the pretentious little shite typing 'this iz real music not liek Beeburz' actually believes that this observations bears any fucking modicum of insightfulness, idiosyncracy or intelligence. In short, I know absolutely nothing about the kid himself, yet I hate just about everything there is to do with him.

I've listened to a few of his songs. Yeah, I hate him. It's hard to explain. I find him... arrogant. Does that make sense?

That makes perfect sense. I wouldn't go so far as hate, but watch a few interviews with real journalists. They don't hold back on questions and he answers like a 15 year old who thinks he's the next Micheal Jackson. He is very arrogant. At the same time though, he is just a kid. He'll figure it out when he gets older and becomes a joke.

We can only hope she does what Kurt Cobain did and blow her head off with a shotgun. Might be a mean joke but I heard one of her songs, the one called "Baby". The lack of effort put into that song was amazing, the chorus was just "baby baby baby oh baby". Her voice sounds so whiney.

Not really no. I don't particularly like his music but there is far worse out there. Mostly I?m just confused by his sudden popularity and his stupid fans. How does he already have a movie and an autobiography? Surely he is not old enough for either of those to be interesting. Especially the autobiography, I thought people generaly wrote those when coming to the end of their career when they have actually done shit.

I don't hate him. I feel nothing towards him. To me, he might as well not even exist. He has neither a positive nor a negative affect on my life. His music does, however, strike a bit of a chord with me. Just remove his vocal cords, and then he'll be likable

I consider him completely talentless and, from what I've seen on interviews and public appearences, he's kind of a douchebag. But that's not so different from most teen idols, and it isn't enough for me to hate the guy. He'll be ancient history in a few years anyway, there are far bigger targets for my hate.

My eight-year-old niece, however, used to be a fan and now she hates him with a passion. So I would definitely say hating him is trendy nowadays.

Justin Bieber is utterly harmless. He is popular. Big deal. Before Justin Bieber, there was the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. We survived them, they didn't kill anyone, we'll get through Bieber fever without iss.

Also, he's 16. Making death threats against a 16 year old just because you heard his music and you don't like it? That's just wrong.

I really detested having the media shoving him down my throat, but that's died down quite a bit, so I guess I'm apathetic now, kinda. His hate base is really annoying. At least I can at least avoid his fan base, but his hate base is fucking everywhere. I don't hate him, just his music. But I do find him to be kind of arrogant at times and will laugh when his voice changes and his music takes a turn for the worse for his fans.
