Do you hate MW2 knifers?

No I don't hate knifers, I myself knife on most maps. I am disappointed to hear how hated I am. You don't even know me!

I understand it can be annoying. That's why I started doing it in the first place, other people were doing it and it annoyed me. But it really is no worse than any other strategy. Nothing takes skill.

Well... yes kinfers are a pin in the butt... then again so are the ppl who run around using tubes all the time... come to think of it.. anything that kills me is annoying...
Camping... sniper camping is ok, u take ur shot, then move to a new camp... Thats what sniping is about...

What grinds my gears are the clowns who run around and jump like a ballerina when you shoot at them... thats just bad gamesmanship (if that is a word - im not sure)

Until I read that last part I was like, "are you serious?" but any game other than MW2, I agree with you.

OT: Yes, they annoy me, but I see them as a necessary evil.

heres my explanation:

There is a strategy for everything. The knifers get the campers, the campers get the regulars, and a good regular is fast and skilled enough to take out the knifers before they get close.

I think that's balanced.

well i am one, and if your camping i think you deserve it. so no. but the best way to stop most people is by using akimbo rangers those stop most 8/10 unless your really slow or something.

If you're worried about being knifed while camping, why don't you set up some claymores around your spot. Wouldn't that stop your problem ?

no ive ran past claymore so many times with lightweight.. unless they are placed perfectly..

Why are people still moaning about the care package glitch? It was patched a few days ago. :S

I rage over knife kills, especially with Commando. Come to think of it, it's just Commando I hate. Such a bullshit perk...

But campers are, in my opinion, even worse than knifers. Just sayin'...

When you get killed by someone in their camping place, you have the right to kill them with a knife, cheap kill for cheap kill

Campers actually annoy me more, but I can get around them ok.

As for knifers, I treat them the same way, let them get on with what they?re doing and find a way to kill them.

Seriously. If they are stupid enough to knife people, they deserve a burst to the head, a grenade on the corpse and getting teabagged by their own teammates.

And if you play badly enough to actually get knifed, freaking knifed in an FPS game about warfare with firearms... you deserve everything that happens to you and some extra to boot.

That's weird, cause I use an all knife tactic, and I usually get almost highest score on most matches. But I guess my strategy is based on pure luck.

Play the actual game before judging.

I have played it. Shotgun to the face never fails to deliver.

I no longer play it however. Too many teabagging, camp-'naded noobs that only whine and rant and rave when their favourite tactic is rendered useless. Seriously, it's like they have never heard of pairing up battle-comrade style using skype, not running trough the same areas six times in a row and expecting not to be shot the seventh time, that the riot shield is not the ultimate defence, glitches can be adapted to and that trying to sneak behind a guy that checks his six every ten seconds (or has someone do it for him) might be more difficult than just running up to him and trying to melee.

I said it earlier and will say it again: anyone who tries to knife people in any modern FPS with firearms deserve a burst to the head, a grenade on the corpse and getting teabagged by their own teammates. And anyone playing badly enough to actually get knifed deserve everything that happens to them and some extra to boot.

Learn tactics, people. Learn that you are fragile and so are your enemies. Learn to take cover, stop camping and make it a reflexive action to shoot anyone who might be an enemy the first moment you see a smidgen of movement.

And most of all: learn to communicate. There is a reason people have mikes and Skype or use teamspeak&variants. Rule Zero of FPSs: You Are Not Rambo.

Can't you just throw knives, and use that when they come at you?
Since I didn't get MW2, I'll compare it to snipers that use motion sensor to knife people in Battlefield: Bad Company: the motion sensor needs to be nerfed. Seriously...

No it doesnt since the ability to no scope is practically non-existant in BC compared to some other games.maybe the range could be decreased a lil on them on the tighter maps but since you can only have 3 before your ammo runs out they not much use to campers.

OT: People with guns who let knifers get close to them, deserve what they get. You have guns shoot him in the head

They're fine as long as they don't use the care package glitch. They are also more irritating if they have pain killer.

Yeah, that'd be awesome. Would mean that the thing actually gets USED. (The shotgun, that is.)

And it would cut down on lameasses using the GL as a crutch. Though I will admit from time to time using a one man army class with a gl just to get danger close pro and to blow crap up. BUT! I do terrible with it.

However, I think I used the shotgun like twice.

every fucking gun in the game should not have auto-target. the knife shouldnt be blamed for being the only thing with it.

OT: whoever says it doesnt take skill must be drunk. its fucking hard to go on a tac knife spree. it requires:

1. good reaction time.
2. UAV or Counter-AUV (not neccesarily, but it makes it a lot easier).
3. an idiotic enemy team that dont look around enough.

REAL, eh? are you saying that COD is just a little sidestep because it actually has singleplayer? not to mention an awesome one.


i love TF2, but its not more "real" than other multiplayers.
