Well I have 2 cats. One is black and white and evil (it likes to attack guests, furniture and anything else when it's in a bad mood) and the other one is all black and soppy as fuck. She follows me everywhere, spends most of her time sitting on my lap or on my bed, will only sleep on my bed and howls when she knows I'm there but can't see me and when I'm away, in the bathroom or when she can't get into my room. If you're on the inside and she's on the outside you'll see her with her front paws up to the elbow underneath the door trying to get in.

Where do you keep them?

I had kept different invertebrates for 20 years and have never had anything escape.
They're in a tupperware box with air holes. Not exactly ideal but we needed something we could easily get into to take the poor buggers out, dust them with nutrients and feed them to the gecko. Always feels like something of an affront to their dignity!

They haven't escaped since we started keeping the box on the floor where the cats can't knock it off.

his name is Kane and he enjoys eating, sleeping and pooping. he also plays with spiders and Crane flys, and whenever he steps on one he gets sad. I also throw a lot of C&C and LOK quotes at him like when he kills a insect I say "Damn you, Kane! You are not God! This act of genocide is unconscionable!

I have a 9 month old Malinois/Appen Senner called Bram.

And yes, I love him very much, eventhough he really pisses me off atleast once a day.

He's technically my best friend's dog but he's really our kid. My best friend's partner actually dislikes dogs so he plays the part of mean step dad and I'm the cool real dad who gets visitation on weekends.

Jugo is a 2 year old Samoyed x Golden Retriever. His hobbies include barking at tree stumps, nudging people in the groin for food or attention and physically attaching himself to my leg for 5 minutes whenever I first enter the room. He's also partial to belly scratches and pooping. He LOOOOVES pooping.

So adorable D=. My fist cat looked just like that one <3.

I'm on my second cat, and she is 9 years old by now but holding up well!

We have a new kitten. Just over five months old. I love him to pieces, and he's a snuggler, but he's also a total fucking terror. BRIMMING with energy at 12 AM. Steals things all the time. Does everything he shouldn't. Exhausting.

It's nice to have a young animal around though. Over the last 10 years I've had fifteen different pets...pets I shared with my parents, and ex girlfriends, and current girlfriends, and personal pets, all pass away of disease or old age. Wears you down. Hopefully I get to enjoy this new guy for a good long while.

Here he is. His name is "Puck", named for Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream character.

It really distresses me that such bad novels ended up in the frame, but whaddaya gonna do?
I'm more interested in that Terry Brooks novel on the side there. Is that Talismans?

OT: No pets allowed where I am. I had a ferret shortly before I moved in here, and she was the best thing in my life. I can still look forward to going to my parent's place, because their dog is awesome.

We got a border collie puppy last year that we called Benny. Benny has taught me two things. 1) Very young puppies are assholes. 2) Asshole puppies can become one of your best pals within a year. He's not that bright and he still gets overexcited and headbutts people a lot, but he can tell when he's hurt someone and he looks really sorry about it and it's adorable.

I also have a really old cat called Tina who seems to keep getting cuts and scratches on her nose but doesn't seem to mind. She's a tough old lady. She's also very good at positioning herself on my bed so it's as complicated as possible for me to get up and not disturb her.

We have a chinchilla called Skippy too, but there's not a lot to say about him. Cute and fluffy as they may be, chinchilla's don't do a lot apart from sleeping, getting a burst of energy and dashing around his cage, going back to sleep and doing hundreds and hundreds of little poops all the while.

Got a ragdoll cat who helped me a lot during a time of depression I had. She can be pretty weird. Intimacy terrifies her(like panic attack for cats) but she starts purring and kneading nontheless.
That sounds a lot like one of ours. She's definitely not right in the head, and she starts to dribble when you stroke her. I do love the little freak, though. (Actually, these days she's mostly adopted my daughter as her special friend so we hardly see her, she spends most of her time on my daughter's bed)
Aye, she kind of does that too. When she's really enjoying it she gets gross eyed and start purring with the mouth open. She manages to suck it back just before the drool starts coming out though. It's so fucking cute. :p

I used to have two cats I got from my aunt's house, a black cat named Arthur and a black and gray tabby named Merlin (yeah... I named them when I was like six, so...)

We've had them for a long time, sadly Arthur passed away a few years ago from tumors in his mouth and stomach.

So we got a dog instead, a pitbull/poodle mix (yes really) named Rooby. She's a bit of a handful to be sure, but still is very loving dog.

My cat, Nick. We put his brother Bo down on Valentines day. Kidney failure. He's sixteen years old now, and an ornery old man. He's always been a complete asshole, everything has to be about him on his time and rightnowdammit.

But he's goddamn beautiful and he knows it. Even now when he's old and his skin sags and he's bony and slow, he constantly grooms himself.

And my other cat, Quarter moved with my parents across the country as he's a complete momma's boy. We took Nick in when they moved as he doesn't travel well.

I had a Golden Retriever before I moved, and he was my best friend in the whole wide world :).

Big, fluffy, adorable, friendly, and dumb as a bag of hammers.

(How the hell do I move pics from my computer to the Escapist?)

Unfortunately, we moved to a sixth floor apartment, and that's really no place for big dogs. He's staying with my parents now.

My roommate has a cat too. He loves it a lot. My feelings are more mixed. He's the fattest, laziest, food-stealingist (that is now a word) ************ you'll ever meet. Lies around the apartment sleeping all day, but can seemingly teleport when he smells a bacon sandwich.

I've taken to referring to him as our "drunken roommate". Lies around the apartment doing nothing, eats all of our food, and will disappear randomly for days on end.

I live with chihuahuas. They've all got personality disorders of some kind, but I still love the little buggers.

This is Bella

This is Rebel

And this is Lacy

The names are kinda dumb but I didn't pick them.

Hello there, I am a crazy cat lady. Please let me tell you about my cats.

We adopted them from a rescue litter, the black one is Tabby, the girl and the black and white is Tiggy, the boy (yes, my brother named him Tiggums...). Sadly, Tiggy disappeared one day while he was pretty ill. Tabby's still well though! I had intended to adopt her smaller sister, but after Tabby sat on my lap and started headbutting me I chose her instead :D Her sister died a month later so it was quite lucky I chose her instead <3

Adopted from a home! He likes to sleep with his paws around his hind legs:3 He's super buff and beefy but his meow is pathetic!

We found her abandoned in a cardboard box, why would someone do that :( Her fur is super soft and she smells like the forest!

They fly into our house from the attic and we have to get them back outside again :D They flit around squeaking, it's so cute ^_^

We have another kitten from a rescue litter called Phillipina Pirrup, I don't have any photos of her u_u

There's a photo of my boyfriend in my cats folder...I don't even know what it's doing there, he's not a cat o_o

What is "boyfriend"? is it a breed of cat? I once had a boy that would kiss me but he got sick of finding cat hair in his undies and I haven't seen him for a while.

I shouldn't have come in this thread, I want them all :<

No :(

the last pet we had that I cared about died a few years ago, to which I can't see to find any pictures of ... odd.

Anyway, we have two dogs now, but I pretty much hate both of the noisy little bastards, as they will NEVER be as awesome as Sammy was.

edit:
found em

She was awesome :3 not like the idiots we have now -.-

A boyfriend is like a cat but a human cat! They let you cuddle them and feed them and sometimes they get grumpy for seemingly no reason!

I would very much like to be friends, especially with your cats! Yes, Batman lives in my attic and sometimes he joins me for tea :D
