I fiddle with my hair constantly, so much so that the way I do it is like a code for how I'm feeling. If I'm twirling it about, I'm fine, but if I'm twisting it into a rope, there's a problem. People find the way I sit really weird too, It's kind of like the lotus position, with my ankles on my knees. It's always been natural for me, but people get creeped out. When I think about it, it must have been even stranger to see an eight-year-old doing it.

Plus, the joke amongst my friends is that no technology I own can live for more than a year. My last laptop broke six times in the first ten months before it finally set itself on fire (to this day, I've no idea how it happened), and my newest broke after six weeks. Buses and phones also don't stand a chance.

The first two are no trouble. The third is a *****.

I don't like walking on cracks. I used be much worse though, to the point where I'd walk awkwardly to avoid it, or avoid walking on the invisible lines that extend from nearby rectangular surfaces like tables.

That sentence will only make sense to you if you do it too...
*High fives*

I used to do that, as well as when in school they have white tiles with some random peach colored tiles scattered. I had to not step on them as well as avoid the tiles in the same line as them either horizontal or vertical, and I would feel depressed if I missed.

I like drawing. It's relaxing. But I find I do significantly better, and faster, when, say, a friend asks me to draw something specific- if I do it at my own time, a good 40% of the time I end up with a whole lot of crumpled paper at the end of an hour. Is that weird?

I peel the labels off of things. Beer bottles, shampoos bottles, jam jars, everything. Its a really annoying habit.

I even like peeling wallpaper

Its all sorts of OCD, but its like the only thing like that I have.

I also doodle compulsively when in lessons, some are mini masterpieces, some are little more than scribbles but all are done without much conscious input from myself.

Now your title makes so much sense!

I do that, too, but it's somewhat of a variant, for both tiles and concrete. For tiles, I used to make sure I stepped in a pattern like a knight in chess--two units in one direction followed by a single unit in a perpendicular direction. For concrete, I don't mind stepping on cracks, but I count how many paces it takes me to cross one block and then try to keep that number consistent on all other congruent blocks. It upsets me when I come up one pace short or one pace over.

No, that would be too easy >:I

I don't think I have any habits o talents really, just things I can do...

I chew on my lip when I'm nervous, I try not to swear out loud but my mind screams profanities at times, I am an engineer by profession but I hate math, and I wiggle my ears when I'm bored.

I have a mild OCD.. things must be neat and tidy if they're clearly out of place. Like a chair in class being in the middle of the room out of place, even if everyone is sat down and it's not technically in the way. I tried to resist the urge. But it became too much, I got up, moved the chair, to it's place, and sat down, satisfied at a job well done.

Also, my hair is curly and lush and thick. The kinda curly lush that some women spend way too much money on to make their hair curly and lush, and mine does it without persuasion. =p Or so I'm told.

I was wondering if any others have any strange little habbits or activities or something that maybe most others dont do, or that you think yourself is little strange/different, maybe its not so different and you just think so! ooor maybe your a fruitcake! Something that can seperate you from the crowd in some way :)

Personally i can open bottles of beer with my teeth, granted not that special but not everyone can do it :) Also i have my wardrobe kinda, over organised, for no real reason (maybe a little bit of OCD) I think thats about it, dont think having things in alphabetical order is that weird (games)

Edit: I have like an addiction to the hair dryer :L now this could be weird, the heat and the noise, dunno i just like it, think it goes back to when i was younger, apparently when i was a baby, dad used to turn the hair dryer on and id sleep on his chest and arms, thats the only link i can make :)
None of this is weird. I can open a beer bottle using the under side of my fore arm.

Also, all of my games and CD's are in alphabetical order as we speak.

If I could actually access my wardrobe properly (It's got two sliding doors and the hanging area is right in the middle, only one door can be open at a time and I can only get to half of it at a time, I can't be arsed using it) it would be organised in the same way as you describe in a later post.

As for weird things, I sleep with my feet turned out, apparently this is strange as my knees point up but my toes point left and right. I think it's normal and the most comfortable way to sleep. My friends and partener have told me I am wrong.

also, I can speak to dogs.
Is this a skill? Surely anyone with the ability to speak is able to do so to dogs.

I don't do it but I understand. I do other, similar things which involve extrapolating edges of objects beyond their current limit in my mind, so that might explain it.

When walking alone with nothing important to worry about I imagine the path that I'm going to walk before I actually take it, I get slightly deistressed if something prevents me from taking my desired route at the rate I am currently moving. Traffic bothers me.
