The title says it all but here's my example;

"Adventures in the world of Paradime, book one of fifty, The quest begins"(tm)by team star pug
So "Gimdalf the magical dwarf with dwarf syndrome (tm) (that will blow your mind) and his group of great adventurers (havent really thought up any other characters) go" Doraleous and accosiates" and set up there own mercinary buisness that takes them on many quests, saving lives and finding treasures.

It's not the best idea but it could be executed well.(If you steal the idea ...>_>...<_<... I'LL KILL YOU)

All right maybe I'm mental.

Anyway Constructive critism only, so feel free to share ideas with the kind considerate people on the escapist.
Yours sincerily

Yes, I have an idea for a book. 5 of them actually...it's really kind of long so ya...not going to go into it much...it involves a prophecy (of course) and some cool people and ... I'm going to be here all night and take up this entire website if I go much further...
Title of the series is "The Chronicles of Glorfeen"
If you have an idea for a better (read: less cliched) title, let me know, but I've kind of grown attached to it.

I have an entire series of books planed out in my head (seriously everything is set for an epic series: Setting, basic plot, characters, technology, ect.) but every time I try and write it down it just falls flat on its face. One day though, i will find my writing style and all shall read my epic book.

I'm planning to write a series of short stories about a fantasy world where all of the Industrial Revolution-style factories and highways that are no longer capable of being used are the backdrop for feudal war.

Factories covering miles, castles hewn from carved-out giant cogs, lever-action rifles coexisting with pole arms and swords...

Currently, I'm working on a few major projects. One in a fan fic for Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and another is an original about (don't start throwing shit at me, please...) vampires... Stop throwing shit at me!

And another one I'm hoping to turn into a video game some day. If anyone wants to hear in a little more detail, feel free to contact me.

I have one for a short story, possibly a children's book. It could become a series if I so choose, but I have yet to make strides into the actual writing. Stuck in that tricky idea phase.

I have two (steal them and we will order the reanimated corpse of Heath Ledger to kill you to death) one involves the most sinister parts of the human mind, which was removed by a gypsy style lobotomy by spirits who created the universe (which was replaced with our conscience), and trapped in the sun for long millenia coming down on Chicago, to amass a cult, end all life, and exact revenge on those who imprisoned it.

And the other involves a tribe of xenophobic tribals living in the desert and picking off the travellers and truckers who make their way down the Bermuda Triangle of Arizona. (not as developed)

There's a pretty epic sci-fi I've been planning for a while, but it's had to take backseat to other projects (namely, college).

I also have a fantasy idea that I would absolutely love to turn into a video game someday. But we'll see.

Yes i have a book idea about a guy whose entire village gets killed. So he goes to kill the creature responsible but it escapes before he can land the fatal hit. So the guy follows the creature for thousands of years.

I have this one, see? I up and decided that I was sick and tired of generic Tolkienesque fantasy settings, meaningless Lucasian prophecy-centric stories, Paolini-style cutouts instead of characters, MacHale-style Aesops about how you should be content to be mediocre, and the self-righteous Mary Sues who have become ubiquitous in recent times. So I did the logical thing and wrote a book ("Wrote" as in past tense).

It's about a bitter, introverted eighteenth-century social outcast who, in a twist of fate borne of a Thirty Xanatos Pileup, winds up in the company of a bum, a farmer, his adopted father, and a malicious spirit; and before long he gets lumped with godly powers and a horrible curse that begins eating away at his humanity. In addition, he gets kicked out of his homeland in an incredibly unlikely turn of fortune, treks across a sunbaked desert, and unwittingly becomes the plaything of an anarchistic idealist, a stauchly capitalistic warlord, and a heartbroken God of Death. And those are the abridged cliff notes.

TL;DR: I'm going to push my anti-materialism on you, no matter how much you beg and plead.

ADDITIONALLY: In response to the OP: Are you aiming for a satirical flanderization of the high fantasy genre? Because that's the impression I'm getting.

I have plenty of book ideas, but recently I discovered I really don't read enough novels to consider writing one of my own (despite being an avid writer myself) and have decided to focus more on graphic novel ideas... that isn't to say I will never write a novel though.

I guess I'll entertain you guys with one of my more recent ideas though (actually came up with one earlier today, but it isn't developed enough to mention):

Basically a story of a college kid who is introduced to an MMO by his roommate and his slow decline into complete and total obsession. He would start the book with a long-running relationship and let it fall apart a while after getting into his new hobby. He'd get in an awesome guild, travel across the country to visit them IRL, fall in love with a guildie in whichever state he visits, get heart broken, etc. etc. The book would take place over the course of two semesters and would more or less be a standard journey of self discovery for a kid coming into his own, with an MMO community as the backdrop. It would have a good bit of humor, spend a lot of time in the protagonist's head and many of the characters in the book would only be referred to as their character's names (even after meeting some of these people in real life). I would definitely try to stay neutral about whether MMO's are actually good for you or not. There's a lot more to it, but I really don't feel like getting into it right now :p

Edit: Oh, and many of what happens in the book will actually be researched to a certain extent. I will be drawing from a lot of my friends' actual experiences... yes I know someone who dated a girl in Canada (he lives in Georgia) who he met of Ragnarok Online, met her twice IRL (they banged) and then she broke up with him because he was too clingy (lol, clingy a thousand miles away). I also have another friend who traveled from Georgia to California more than thrice to visit his WoW guildies and party with them.

I have about 3 Major Ideas for books. One is a greek mythology setting (not god of war before you think it. It's actually a post apocalyptic setting... it would take me a while to explain it I have 1000 words on the setting itself in notes so I don't forget details), one is a Spawn style setting where the character is from a plane that heaven and hell teamed up to destroy and make into purgatory, so he is all alone on earth with a punisher style deathwish, superhuman reflexes, speed and strength and various other protections and hires himself out to people under threat from either heaven or hell so he can gun down angels and demons. In his spare time he seeks out beings from both sides and important human figures (popes etc). The third one is a guy that tears out human souls and gains their strengths while he has them contained within himself, but the drawback is as he weakens they can escape his body and the ones inside constantly try and attempt to dominate his mind, so having more inside makes him stronger but it also requires immense effort to keep the souls under control. I guess that is vague enough for people to not be able to steal by ideas very well.

I have a few novels-worth of book ideas. Not ideas for a few novels,my stacks of notes themselves are thicker than Stephen King's The Stand.

Most of them are my equivalents of plans B-Z(or the other bullets in a revolver for one-on-one duels/an execution/suicide),however, and will only be used in the event that the other ones don't succeed quite as well as I need them to.
The story doesn't work as a tale of horror? Remake it into a romantic supernatural slice-of-life black comedy!
