Going outside and/or talking to strangers. It's kinda gotten out of hand, I should get to fixing that. I've quit jobs over it :L

In a less serious sense, then doctors, surgeries, anything hospital related. Just creeps me out.

i used to try not to wear a hoodie in public out of fear of people thinking im a thief or burglar.

Tikis, Easter Island heads, and totem poles. I do not know why but I'm unnerved by the faces and it creeps me out. I think the Easter Island heads creep me out from a game I played years ago, but I have no idea what it was. Maybe it was a cartoon or something, I just feel like they're going to come to life and start hopping after me and trying to eat me or something. I also feel like they're staring at you all the time - something about it just makes me feel uneasy. Needless to say, I'd never go to the Easter Islands - being on an island with those things would freak me out.

I'm afraid of heights when I'm in a building, like the Eiffel tower replicas which sway a lot - but I'm not scared at all when I'm in a plane 30,000 ft in the air. Kinda a different approach to that since most people hate heights period. Also cannot stand spiders or stinging bugs like wasps, bees, etc (Although for some reason I almost find tarantulas cuddly - they're less creepy to me than small spiders like the brown recluse which are small enough to crawl into my closet and hide only to be found again when looking for something and then biting me).

Nosocomephobia.

Not necessarily a strange aversion, but an aversion nonetheless.

I'm terrified of mirrors, but only in the dark. I think it stems from watching too much "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?" and playing too much La Llorona when I was a kid (look it up).

I'm paranoid of spiders. If I see them I HAVE to kill them, or I feel like they're going to sneak up and start biting me. If I can't kill them, I wont feel comfortable in that room for a day or two.

St Andrew's cross spiders, they just freak me out.

Any other spider I'm fine with.

Insects and arachnids, hell I won't go near the reptiles section in a pet store if they are in view. They freak me out heavily.
There was also a nightlight I had when I was five with a plastic smileyface cover that always looked like it was staring into my soul, waiting to devour it in my sleep. I ended up smashing it with a cuestick and buried it in the backyard.

I shall post the same thing in this thread as I do in every thread involving my fears.

Spiders and giant squid.

Seriously, that thing doesn't need to exist.

God forbid a squid fuse with a spider, and become a land squid...

I'd kill myself.
i usually think deep sea animals are cool but this one just freaks me the hell out

ET the Extraterrestrial.

Yes, the cute little alien from the movie. That movie fucking traumatized me years ago, and I've been absolutely terrified of the little bastard since.

And, for some reason, windows at night. I've always seen little smudges on the window, and thought that they looked strangely like a skull in the distance, and then would be paranoid that there's something outside. Or, I'd be sitting next to a window and be scared that if I were to turn around and face it, something would be right there. For my recent re-realization of this fear, I blame this thread.

Slenderman... I see him everywhere now.
I saw him in the scary thread, and thought he wasn't that scary.

Then I was alone at a park one time, and kept looking around at all the trees, thinking of the Slender man...

I don't really have any phobias. I can't think of any. I'm not even afraid of spiders, unless it's not unreasonable to believe I am directly threatened by it.
