I can get frustrated at a game. But, by then, I tend to stop playing.

Back when I was a dumb console kid, I used to get annoyed, but, I got out of that phase pretty quick.

LMAO oh my god yes when I was younger I used to hit my friends sometimes, not in the face or anything but still with malicious intent, we're still friends though have been since 7th grade. I stand by nintendo's quality manufacturing for I have punted a SNES or two in my day, but as I got older its toned down some my last REAL BAD temper flare, was during the end of episode 2 of half life 2 while fighting the strider/hunter hordes, needless to say I bit myself pretty hard on the arm, nearly gave myself a staff infection or something. Haven't cannibalized myself since. I'm VERY competitive and as such stay away from most sports I do kickboxing as part of my fitness routine but NEVER against anything other than a punching bag and speed bad. Oh and Dark Souls made me loose my shit a couple of times but thankfully no physical damage or property damage was caused.

depends really. i used to get pretty mad in online shooters, but that was when i was still fairly young and i've matured a lot since then. now i'm usually pretty laid back, although i still get annoyed when i get killed by something cheap (noobtubes, impossible TBoI rooms, ano londo archers, freeze spam elites in diablo3 etc.)

i'd say i get more frustrated at these types of situations though, not angry. had a friend who used to get super pissed, broke several keyboards playing CoD and even punched his monitor when he had a bad CSS game. kinda pathetic to break valuable objects but still

I used to rage hard but now I know if I am getting angry while playing its because I don't really feel like playing and should just take a break. I do get really intense sometimes usually while playing battlefield but not angry.

Just once. When playing Monster Hunter Freedom on the PSP.

I couldn't play the game online, so I had to try and solo the game completely by myself. I had managed to beat almost every mission, but when I reached one that had two of the fastest monsters in the game in one area, I lost over and over again. And one of those times, I managed to break my armrest and a table out of rage.

I have beaten that mission since, but man - I never want to see myself that mad ever again.

Not like I did when I was younger. I used to throw controllers and pound my fists on my chair. I'm surprised I never broke any of my controllers.

Now when I feel like I'm getting too annoyed, I just stop and come back later.

Those first two paragraphs sum up my childhood so well it's scary. Minus the LAN party part.

Seriously, I went through so many PS1s as a kid. If I died too many times I'd start wailing on it with my controller and shouting. And I wasn't very good at games as a kid so I died a lot. So that meant a lot of damage to the console. Whoops.
I'm nowhere near that bad now but I do find myself shouting "fuck this" and launching my controller across the room every now and then. But at least controllers are cheaper to go through than consoles. Heheh.

I'm safe to be around. I swear. :(

Well it depends usually on multiplayer games I'm fine occasionally saying someones a dick or something but never in the actual chat, usually it's joking and I'm not actually mad but sometimes if someone is just way better than me I'll get irritated or if I'm on a team that's just so bad we were guarenteed to lose.

Oddly enough in single player games I'll probably get angrier, like the other day I was playing xcom on a terror mission and every one of my soldiers managed to miss a rampaging crysilid 4 times, it was so bad that I had to make them stand next to it. I was actually really angry whenever they missed because I really needed to get a good rating.

But for the most part no I don't get that angry at games.

Honestly, I don't get truly angry at games, especially not singleplayer games.

With that said, competitive multiplayer games do tend to annoy me if my team is not playing as well as I would expect or hope (which is admittedly too high most of the time). Specifically, DoTA tends to put me in a really bad mood if either I or my team do poorly too many games in a short amount of time.

Nope, when things haven't been going my way for a while I put down the game and do something else. I usually quit long before I reach my anger threshold.

Hah, I used to. Never angry enough to cause damage, and I stopped at about the age of 16. Just grew out of it eventually, I suppose. But I remember biting my N64 controller out of frustration while playing Excitebike. Fun times :p

But yeah. Now I just find humour in how bad I am at games. In a sort of "haha, what the fuck am I doing with my life?" kind of way.

I get it pretty badly during Battlefield 3, which is really odd because I never had that reaction to Battlefield Bad Company 2.

I used to get it as a kid playing Midtown Madness. I still enjoy that game.

SimCity 4 caused me to get more annoyed than angry because the advisors wouldn't have a nice steaming cup of STFU.

Titanfall has been nothing BUT me getting angry. Normally I'm pretty relaxed playing online games, but my god, the people playing this game on PC are fucking dreadful.

I know there are always going to be people who ruin the fun, but I've never played a game where it was so bad.

If people win, they gloat, call everyone scrubs, or proceed to jerk off to everyone in the lobby.

If people lose, they proceed to say "OH, IT'S BECAUSE EVERYONE IS BEING PUSSIES AND USING CLOAK AND SMART PISTOLS!" (regardless that only one guy uses a smart pistol, and cloak are integral to not getting your butt handed to you by a Titan)

It's also painfully obvious this was made by the same people who made CoD. Why? Instant kill, homing, melee attacks. Can't aim? Don't worry! Rush up to your opponent, mash the melee button, and watch as your attack instantly gravitates towards them in a one hit kill. (seriously, kill cams ALWAYS show them being at least a foot away, and homing in on me when the melee attack happens.)

I'm fine with losing, but it infuriates me when I obviously see it was because of something like an instakill, lock on melee attack.

Kicked a hole in my drywall once. I think that answers your question. Lately when i get angry its at the incompetence of my team mates, but usually i just either stop playing or do some other game, although a particularly bad game can ruin the rest of my evening.

I have anger issues full stop, but yes, mainly when something I perceive to be unfair has happened or when someone is disrespectful, these being lag (which I don't complain about to the other player but am infuriated by, having Australian internet and all), and when someone is an asshole (all sorts, but this is a huge thing for me: Citing lag as the reason I win in any online match. I can almost guarantee I have worse lag than the other person, and I don't somehow use it to my advantage, I fucking suffer through it, and after that I don't deserve someone's cheeky "so much lag :D". Fuck you if you do that.)

Basically if we had voted for a better Prime Minister I would soon be a very happy gamer.

Kiiinda. Really the only game that gets me mad is TF2. I like it, but I hate when I get on a team with someone that doesn't know what they're doing. Or when I'm the worst on the team and feel like I'm dragging everyone down.

Otherwise I don't rage at the game. I rage when people won't stop calling me or interrupting and it's getting intense.

Also the invincibles in Borderlands 2. They're not about skill, they're about exploiting the glitch that each one has.

I get frustrated at some games like Super Meat Boy or annoyed at a broken game, but I don't get angry at them. The closest I get to angry now is when someone is giving me shit for being terrible at a game when they're doing worse (yes, I'm serious; he was 0/3/0 and I was 1/3/2) or when I specifically told them at the beginning that I sucked. Very little pisses me off lately, other than stupid politicians.

If it's a multiplayer game then yes, I get mad almost every time I play. If it's only co-op, then only when the guys I'm playing with are being stupid/useless. If it's single player then I rarely get angry. When I do it's usually because game is being very difficult like if I've had to start the same thing over and over again for one reason or another.
