also, I'm sorry if I've been a bit of a troll. no offense. also, what does "snip" mean, out of curiosity's sake?
'snip' basically mimicking the sound of a scissor. Too many words, so we 'snip' the words. =3

Well, well, well...as someone who has been brought up with rather colourful views towards the Middle East and its people, please don't take offence if my father or grandmother suddenly take over my mouth. >_>

1. Are you at all worried with the mass protests currently sending governments to the dustbin across the Middle East?
2. Are you offended if I say I am not fond of your accent? I know I probably sound just as bad to you, but...
3. Hows censorship issues?
4. WHERE'S YOUR OIL HUH!?!?!?!? >=(
1) Go right ahead. We don't like the current gov anyways.
2) nope.
3) They exist only in cinemas. The usual stuff.
4) I DON'T KNOW!! D=

Basic run-down, an American kills 3 Pakistani. Alibi? Self-defence. Question: Who the hell shoots 18 times in self defence?

Is Paki actually offensive to you?
It is offensive to me, a Pakistani living in Pakistan, that British Pakistanis consider it offensive. However, I understand if British Indians don't like being referred to by the name of the country they hate most.

How's the weather today? Good? Damn freezing where I am.
It snowed in Lahore a few days ago. Karachi is usually warm, especially by your country's standards.

Yeah. Funny thing is that only the "American" side is presented, and not the Pakistani side. Unless you're withholding the Pakistani side of things, which I can't imagine you doing.

Another one, how much Hinduism is there? I hear that there has always been some kind of uneasiness between Pakistan and India, let alone the actual violent conflicts. But there has to be some Hinduism there, right? I mean, it's pretty close proximity.

Aaand to add to the problem, he's got CIA connections. So, it might have been U.S. government sanctioned. Yeah, not exactly my country's proudest moment.

Oh right. He said that they were trying to rob him. Fair enough. Except even if that was the case, one or three shots would be enough to ward them off. But 18? Come now.

Okay, pardon all the foreign policy questions, but I'm kind of a news nerd and this is fascinating.

What's your take on this West Gaza business with Israel and Palestine? Is it considered important, even though it's not directly related to your country? Like, is there concern that this could be the start of Jewish expansionism into the region, or is it generally accepted that Israel will back down?
I know that
Care to shed some light, good sir?
It's a long story, but short version goes something to the effect of "I really like the people in the youth movement I'm in, so instead of going to college after highschool, I thought I'd spend a gap-year in Israel on a program called Workshop". As for my views on Israel and the palestinian conflict, I actually plan on starting an "ask a jew" thread in a week because I'm going to poland in a few days. And even if I did have internet connection in poland--which I won't--you could understand how someone wouldn't want to get into that kinda thing after having just spent a frosty polish day at the death camps...
or were asking mParadox that question

General rule of thumb, try not to kill people if you can help it.

You know, it's funny. I'm posting this clandestinely from work. My boss is Pakistani, though he's lived in America since he was a kid. He also happens to be the best salesperson I've ever met, and his favorite two music genres are country and rap. Interesting guy.

Anyway, my question is: what's the most-used console there? I would assume it's PS2, since you can use it as a DVD player and CD player, and since it's relatively cheap now. Or is PC gaming bigger there? How flagrant is piracy?
Since publishers don't release game here, almost all games are pirated. We can only get original ones from Steam and recently stores started receiving shipments of old used games. The most popular console among serious gamers is Xbox 360 and PC. The whole console debate about which is better exists here and you can see it on pakgamers.com forums.

Very interesting, I'll have to pop in on that one as well.

Pretty much. We've definitely entered "pot calling the kettle black" territory on this one. I think my government just officially lost the right to indict yours for assassination for at least the next couple of decades or so.

La whoops! We try our hardest to be tolerant. We don't come in the way of their preaching, they do the same. Although, I do wish that the Hindus were given better freedom and you know, more funding so that they could expand their teachings.

Not in a racist way, how come so many of you move to england
Economics mainly. And I hate immigrants as much as you do. England should belong to the English. I believe that unpatriotic and selfish Pakistanis are steeling jobs that your people deserve. I would hate it if your people came here and started steeling our jobs too, so I feel the same if someone does it to you. I also feel that educated people who leave Pakistan when it needs them are traitors who have betrayed their country and will betray yours if given enough money.
