Ummm hmmm, why do you guys hate indians so much, and why won't you let us bomb stuff in your country?
We are bombing stuff in their country. Neither government will acknowledge it though.

OT: Keeping it simple, where the fuck is Bin Laden and why isn't your government doing anything about him or the slow takeover the Taliban has been doing to your country? Gaming is the last thing you should worry about. Predator drones are already covertly attacking targets in Pakistan, so wtf? Conceding anything to the Taliban is a move that puts your country and the world in danger.

Is Paki actually offensive to you?
I think the point is racists call anyone "Paki", regardless of where they actually hail from. Even I have been called both a "Paki" and a "******" in the same sentence... and I am a British white guy. Its the sheer ignorance of the people that I think most people find offensive over the shit they spew.

1) What are your views on Sharia and the Caliphate System?

and

2) What are your views of Israel (As a nation and it's existance), and of the Israeli-Palestine Conflict?
1) The Sharia System was always meant to be with the time. That is, the laws were tobe updated as the world changed. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Ever. The Caliphate System is, basically, your King system. Nothing really wrong with that.

2) My personal view is that, if it's recognized by the entire world, might as well recognize as a country then. Pakistanis are likely to accept its existance only when the Palestinians are given compensation for what they endured in the hands of the Israelis.

Heck if I know where's Osama. You do realize that suicide bombing is a really serious issue over here? Example: They are now bombing mosques. MOSQUES. Where Muslims go to pray. So you see, even if the gov does do something it, half the population will be in hospital beds. And we know about the predator drones.

Are you part of the Muslim religion and if so do you believe all that bullshit about opressing women?
I'm a Muslim. And no. That oppressing women thing came about in the 1980's when we were ruled by a religious nut of a dictator.

My question is what movies are really popular their and what is the general opinion of the Taliban in Pakistan amongst the people.( the news stations here give us shit so...yea)
Indian and American movies are popular here. The recent increase in cinemas has allowed people for a better viewing experience. =3

I know it's a big problem, but I didn't know they started bombing mosques. Confused. What is that accomplishing? If they're already bombing mosques, why doesn't the government ask for help from the UN? Have a peace keeping force come in to protect those places and try to squeeze the Taliban harder and back towards Afghanistan and the Americans?

Which makes into a bigger problem. At least it people see that the Taliban are doing it for their own whacky agenda. And the UN has no real power in Pakistan, same thing converse. Pakistan has no real in UN.

and people have tried but... they're stubborn. >.<

Sounds like home to me! :3

Do you have a lot of arts/film festivals? Do you have a vibrant music community? Do you have a jazz community? What age is considered old enough to be an adult?

Well yes. There are festivals every year taking place in cities.

The music community is definitely developing. A good sign of progress of the youth. =3

A jazz community? Don't really know. Although, considering the vibrant nature of the major cities, I won't be surprised if there indeed is a community like that.

And 18-16 years.

As all leaders are, dictator or democratic. Not trying to make anyone angry, but if you get rid of religion, you end this senseless violence. We won't have Muslim extremists bombing mosques or markets, we won't have retarded politicians saying God told them that everyone should be free, and it would all but end tensions in the middle east related to Israel. We can stop bickering about things that MIGHT have happened 1200-3500 years ago and work on problems like global climate change, renewable energy, education, etc. But I digress. Hopefully this all ends soon.

I agree. We take religion to a whole new level. As previously said, it all started because of the religious nut of a dictator during the 1980's. Before that, the Pakistan was a lot more prospective about its future.

I am a relative newcomer on these forums and have posted on a few threads and seen a few more. I noticed that there aren't many Pakistanis here and also noticed a thread about questions for Australians and Americans so I thought I would make one for Pakistan. Keep in mind that I am from the city of Karachi and don't know much about the villages in Pakistan.
Assalam 'alaykum! I just noticed this thread and I think it's cool that a fellow Pakistani takes the spotlight to talk to people. Granted I am not truly Pakistani, I am a Khoja. I am of Indian/Pakistani heritage but my family has been in Africa for many generations,my dad lived in Pakistan for half his life though so you could he say that he is Pakistani.

So how is Pakistan doing? Any better?
Walkkum Salam. Sorry for late reply.
Pakistan under Zarddari isn't doing as well as it was under Musharraff. Hopefully Zardari will soon be a distant bad memory and people seeing him as president will make sure they won't vote for a known corrupt person again and maybe Imran Khan could come in next.

Not in a racist way, how come so many of you move to england
Economics mainly. And I hate immigrants as much as you do. England should belong to the English. I believe that unpatriotic and selfish Pakistanis are steeling jobs that your people deserve. I would hate it if your people came here and started steeling our jobs too, so I feel the same if someone does it to you. I also feel that educated people who leave Pakistan when it needs them are traitors who have betrayed their country and will betray yours if given enough money.
Kind of piggybacking on that thought. One of my good friends at University is from Karachi as well, but he's going to school here in the states. Do you equate that as being similar to leaving the country in a time of need? (I haven't gotten around to asking him if he's going back after graduation yet D:)
If he only wants to study there, I don't think he is a traitor but if he is there to stay, he is a traitor in my opinion and you can even tell him I said that.

Amen to that brother.
What post did you quote from me?
My opinion is for Jews and all civilizations is that as long as they leave my country and its allies alone, i would rather have Pakistan be friends with them. However, if they negatively interfere with us or our allies, my opinion would obviously be against them.

It snowed in Lahore a few days ago. Karachi is usually warm, especially by your country's standards.
Correction. Hail-stormed.
Sorry for that. It hasn't sowed or hail stormed in Karachi since 1986(and I wasn't even born then) so I don't know the difference.

Before Islam, Arabs used to burry their new born daughters alive and were involved in all kinds of evil and there was no rule of law. For some people, if they think there is no one to answer to when they die, what is the point of doing good things.
