Do you have any songs/artist that make you physically ill when you hear them played?

There is a radio station at my work we are not allowed to change and it literally plays the same 12-15 songs on repeat all day long. I've gotten to the point I can guess what song is coming up next within about a song or two. It's sickening.

Here is a sampling of what I have to listen to every day. The sad part is that they aren't even good songs to begin with. I literally get sick to my stomach when I hear them come on.

Adele- Someone Like You
Maroon 5- Moves Like Jagger (my most hated and the most played of all)
B.o.B- Airplanes
LMFAO- Sexy and I Know It

What songs make you physically ill every time you hear them?

The entire discography of the Eagles
Leona Lewis - Better In Time
that one Lionel Richie song that I can never remember the name of

My office has a strictly policy of listening exclusively to "Lite FM" on the radio, and describing its selection as paltry would be generous

I also despise any sort that directly instructs me to have a good time. Seriously. I feel that music and good times go very well together, but the realms of songs that I play while having a good time and songs that tell me to have a good time never intersect

I did start to feel rather ill when I first started to listen to dubstep. I seem to have a werid audio thing where I can get dizziness and headaches from certain types of audio cues. I have built up a resistence to it (I guess?) since then. It's not like I dislike dubstep either, it was a real thing. I couldn't play Amnesia for the same reason dispite really wanting to play it.

I don?t mind anything except Justin Bieber?s songs. I just get annoyed and frustrated when I listen to his songs.

I actually just read about that in my psychology book. Its the same kind of thing that makes some people get sick in clubs and dubstep is right up there with the best of them that can cause that. Interesting.

Not really there are songs that I get irritated with. Mainly anything from Creed, Nickleback, or Jet.

Now songs that make me feel sad, there are plenty of them. Damn you Goo Goo Dolls and your sad songs.

there is an entire class of music (i refuse to call it a genre) that makes me physically mad Christmas music. if it was any good they would play it more than one month a year, and thank god they don't.

but besides that a lot of individual songs that annoy me but nothing that makes me feel ill.

Just about every vallenatero or reggeatonero, also know as a bus driver prime choice of music to play on a bus ride. It doesn't help that we'll crammed as if we were a can of tuna and the bus driver keeps shouting "MOVE PEOPLE, THERE ARE MORE SEATS ON THE BACK OF THE BUS!".

I wanted to say "Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Leona Lewis", but then I noticed that the title said "song/artist", so screaming harpies probably don't count.

Amen, brother. There's a lot of bad songs I don't like on the radio, but this is the only one that makes me change the station immediately. Never in my life have I heard such a sterile, weak, factory produced drivel of a song. There's a version playing sometimes that starts with a tacked on rap verse. It sounds like it was written by a committee who then hired three seperate artists who never met to work on it.

There is much wisdom in these words.

I'm a music junkie, and anything that was manufactured to be popular and make as much money as physically possible makes me feel ill. Perhaps it's the hooks, rhythms, or tired, recycled concepts, but you can always tell which songs were written by a legitimate artist and which ones were designed by a corporation.

I actually started dry vomiting when I heard one of their songs.

I honestly feel your pain. I'm stuck with the same shit radio station at work everyday since thats what everyone else seems to like. And it's awful.

So my only answer to your question can honesly be; whatever shit song they keep repeating at the moment.

Right now, that matches up quite well with your list.

EDIT: I'd like to also add to this, every pop song that feels the need for a small, impromtu rap verse half way through. I like rap, when it's done right, but nearly every single pop song on the radio these days has a random rap segment thrown in regardless of how jarring and out of place it is. Please stop this.

I have to say I'm glad I work at a cafe where we listen to Radio 6 all day (Except when the boss gets annoyed at the welsh presenter who sometimes talks over the songs, resulting in hilarious hissed swearing matches between him and the blissfully unaware woman untill he changes the station).

OT: I loathe the music in McDonalds, I don't want to know who these people are or where they were made or what the name of this song was agreed to be. Whenever I go with freinds they notice my hackles rising untill they finally concede to my grunts and whines and go elsewhere.

A couple years ago there was one song called 'gimmie the beat boys' which was played on every radio station here non-stop. I developed an aquired hatred of it after listening to it for about the 45204560934256034875870256087th time, which I still haven't gotten over.

Also, every christmas the song list for every store and such, including one I used to work at, narrows to about 12 songs, most of which I disliked to begin with.

Not even just a song or an artist. I can name three genres that just anger me because it's SUCH bad music to me. Rap, reggae, and country. There are only very few exceptions of each that I'm willing to take.
