You know what? It seems really strange me when people have a go at you for hugging your friends, be they guys or girls or whatever. It staggers me that in this day and age, people will still call you 'gay' or something similary derogatory just because you're a guy who will hug your friends who are also guys.

It doesn't worry me, I have three good friends overseas at the moment and when they come back I'll hug every single one. I'll hug my friends who are gay, it doesn't matter. It's a show of affection for someone whose meant a lot to you, and people who don't are actually missing out on quite a lot.

Anyway, that's my rant. Does anyone else here hug their friends? Or think it's right to?

Bring it with the Bro-mance!

When I've not seen them in a while or I'm happy to see my boys they get hugged.

Anyone who thinks it's gay I've got a couple of mates who'd happily introduce you to a different kind of hugging.

So be glad of having mates to hug. It sure as hell beats being alone.

I do on occasion, then again I hug my enemies before I plant a sewing needle directly into their spinal column paralyzing them. AHEM.

Yeah, although its only been relatively recently (last few months), probably because we've all left school and dont see as much of each other anymore. And its mainly only when someone else has initiated the general hugging of people.

The internet has judged you and found you: Normal.

Go about your daily life in peace, hugging whomever you choose. As long as they're willing. Because otherwise the police might want you to assist in their enquiries.

Zee speaks the truth.

I hug my mates all the time. Man hug or full blown two arm hug-o-rama. Of course I only hug my closest friends. I don't approach randoms and give them a bear hug.. though it's tempting.

Some of them, depending of their preference. Some of my friends value their personal space quite highly, and I respect that. Others I hug, but I mostly hug when saying goodbye instead of hugging as a greeting.

My three best friends happen to be girls. So yes, I hug them if need be. There are only a certain few of my guy friends that I hug, however, simply because they do it back. It is a big joke among my close group of friends that all the guys are secretly gay... Ahh well...

I have several friends, both male and female, that I hug on certain occasions, for example if I haven't seen them in along time, to congratulate them or we're just very happy. I also dole out hugs more frequently when I'm drunk, but that's probably something many people do.

It's not gay hugging someone. Though, it's widely something gay people do so you can see the comparision.

I myself hugs everyones. :D

I hug good friends occasionally, usually just in really emotional moments. I hug Mobius and Empyrean a lot more often these days.

Some yeah, some no, depends what they're like. I have friends from all over so the Londoners and northerners generally dont get hugs while the rest do.

I love hugging my friends. And apparently, you need 8 hugs a day to deal with daily stress. =3 It's good for you!

I know lots of guys who hug their friends, and they're usually popular, regardless of their sexuality.
