It might be because I'm one of the first people to post in some topics I like, or I'll quote someone and have a discussion with them.

OT: Nope, don't think I've ever killed a thread before. I've given up making threads though. I did make this really fucking good one once, that someone congratulated me on for making a thread so original, and it got a page of replies (at best) and died.

On occasion. Mostly because I'm one of the few people I know on this site who tend to go massively overboard with the length of my posts, and in my (brief!) experience most forumers don't have the patience to wade through 12 cubic miles of anecdotes and dangling modifiers.
