I'm one hell of a liar, people tend to believe me when I enhance the truth or just fabricate a new truth
Don't get me wrong I only do those things at school and when it's not a big deal to lie. On that school subject: it has saved my ass several times now, so I rather good at

And for those who can't lie here's my number 1 rule:
DON'T LIE, MAKE A NEW TRUTH AND BELIEVE IT YOURSELF BEFORE SAYING IT TO SOMEONE
and another word of advice: don't forget what kind of new truth you have made and to who you have said it.

Its easy to lie, just make it plausible and if you have to include it in a story make sure there is an element of truth to it. Some truth the person you are telling knows is true.

I cannot openly lie at all, no poker face at all. So I don't tell lies. But I'm scarily good at lying through omission, I'm great at trivialising and withholding information

This statement is a lie...

Anyway enough with the paradoxes, on with the question! Yes I do lie quite a bit, but of my lies are so blatantly obvious anyone who isn't overly gullible spots them a mile away. Sometimes I'll lie really well and be shocked that it was actually believed so I just roll with it until the truth is revealed, after which I feign confusion as if I was tricked.

Aw, man... time to come clean. I'm actually a 65 year old woman from Pennsylvania who is stalking all of you.

...come back to me, I can do better.

You will rarely see me lying because it is against my religion.

Frequently, to the point that I can do it without even noticing. I'm not talking about the grandiose tall tales that John Smith was famous for, just the ones that are around 90% of the truth. You know, the hard ones to disprove.

I don't buy that.

I don't do it often, but when I do it works out fine.
Probably because I don't lie that often.

Yes and very yes, respectively. And I have a very House-ian view of lying.

It also absolutely amazes me how bad people are at lying. Maybe being better at it makes you more perceptive, but people around me lie all the time and are incredibly bad at it.

Proptip: It really helps to think of lying less as coming up with a story and more as coming up with a layered contingency plan against investigation. You want to be playing Xanatos Speed Chess, not trying to be the Clock King. Truth be told, this does require a certain level of cool-headedness and quick thinking, but the alternative requires impossible foresight.

Everybody lies in the strictest objective sense, be it lack of information or your subjective perception of things that clouds the reality.
But to us it doesn't seem like lying unless we decide it is, saying "I am Bob" is only a lie when you think you aren't Bob.

And I never lie, I simply take everything that comes out of my mouth as truth, I would also like to point out at this point that I am the Easter Bunny (or whatever the politically correct name for that is... "Holiday Chicken"?).

I don't recall ever lying (I do have difficulty remembering what I had for breakfast yesterday{Ironically I can recite pi to 34 places}) then again I'm sure I must have lied at some point in my life, I'm sure it was nothing big though... maybe

I am honest as much as possible. I don't like lying, and I'm not good at it. I can omit the truth, though. Sometimes. I think...

I rarely lie.
However, the other day, I managed to convince a classmate I knew for 4 years that I grew up in an orphanage and was adopted at the age of 10. Apparently, he believed it. Right up until I told him he's a idiot. Go me!

Well generally I know that it's a bad thing to do (to lie) from not just my religion but practically everywhere.

And I'm Buddhist, enough said? Plus even if you do it for a certain reason, it still makes you an honest person because at the end of the day you're not lying. Honesty means you don't lie, in this case, right?

I lied quite a bit when i was younger. And sadly i was pretty good at it.
And now when i am older i do my best not to lie at all. But some little
ones do try to get in there every once in a while.

I lie a bit. Used to be a lot more, but after I moved out of my parent's place, I didn't have to jump through hoops to do what I wanted to do. There are still a few things I still maintain as secrets, and lie as needed to protect.

I don't like it, but I lie more times than I'd like. Still, when I do it almost never comes out.
