I'm a phenomenal liar. I'm so good, I don't even know whether or not I'm lying at the minute.

You do realize that's called being a pathological liar, right?

You will rarely see me lying because it is against my religion.
So you are not an honest person then, just god-fearing?
I don't buy that.

I don't do it often, but when I do it works out fine.
Probably because I don't lie that often.
Well generally I know that it's a bad thing to do (to lie) from not just my religion but practically everywhere.

And I'm Buddhist, enough said? Plus even if you do it for a certain reason, it still makes you an honest person because at the end of the day you're not lying. Honesty means you don't lie, in this case, right?
Sure.
But it is better to do it if its because you know it is wrong, instead of just following some rules for the sake of it.

As I now realise you do :)
Just think it would be simpler if you left out the middleman and skipped the mention of religion when thats not the main reason.
Bah.

I'll almost never lie, I don't like to and will usually tell the truth whenever I am in trouble or what not (even if I get away with it, I hate the guilt I feel). I may not always tell people the whole truth though, unless it was serious. For example if a friend tells me something in confidence (say he cheated on his GF) I will omit it from her if she asks me, or you know if my parents ask what I did on the night out, I'm not going to tell them if I got up to something I shouldn't have (say smoking pot or something), unless it was a serious incident.

Only yourself in the long run, when/if people realise they can't trust you.

I try not to lie. I have a really high sense of integrity and honesty that keeps me from lying most of the time.

Everyone lies. EVERYONE
Yes, but the topic is about how much.
Fair enough. I always lie to the police about why I was speeding. I also don't like too much social interaction, so I make up excuses on the spot, which is definitely lying.

With startling regularity. I'm a superb liar, and I do it ridiculously often.

Yep. My whole life has been a tissue of whoppers. I consider myself one of England's finest liars.
(a thousand pounds to the first person who gets the reference...although I might be lying).

Seriously though, I do consider myself to be a very good liar, especially when I'm put on the spot and need to get out of something. I've had quite a lot of people tell me I'm a good liar too (although they may have been lying). That said, it's actually rare for me to lie. I just don't have that much need for it. I tend to limit myself to when I desperately need to get out of something or when it's really, really funny.

The problem is they don't. I've been caught lying 2-4 times my entire life and even than it wasn't about anything serious.

I should seriously go see a psychiatrist.
They could still figure out all of your previus lies.
The more you lie, the greater chance of contradicting yourself.

I don't lie an awful lot, but I'm a really good liar when I need to be.

A fair bit. And I make up random stories to amuse myself.
And I'm almost undetectable to the untrained eye >.>
