Ugh, I probably could be wasting time by playing Pokémon some more, but this is killing me.

I understand he has to carefully decide who's best for the positions, but the wait's almost driving me to mad. =/

I feel sorry for them, image how many ones they got about Death Note. All the younger otaku's wrting how it's the best of all time and junk. Hell i even wrote about it, but used the short form and ***** about the fans mostly XP

I'm not that stressed over the wait, I just wrote that comment the first time I rechecked the page and held my breath over whether or not anything was announced yet. I know it will take a long while time. I'm patient. Ish.

Well, while we're waiting, what did you guys pick? I did Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann short form, and Ouran High School Host Club long form. And yes, I'm a guy.

I did TTGL long form and Princess Mononoke short form, I hope people realize that this isn't a praise fest, you have to actually be critical of the series, hence the term review.

I'm just excited. I imagine I might be this excited about an actual job interview in the future, but only if I wanted it this badly. Anime's been a hobby and a partial lifestyle for quite a while, so I'd love to get this position.
Or maybe I'm just paranoid and my jedi mind tricks are all used up, I'll never know.

I kept away from Death Note. They honestly and truly killed it in English. It's a shame, because the first half of that series wasn't so horribly in Japanese.

Well, it's the fans that make it a love and hate anime. I like death note, not loved it, just plain liked it. However the Fans of that series drive me F'n nuts. Have you ever seen a Convention with more than 100+ L's walking around? I even asked one of them why they dressed like L and they said case he's the greast detective ever. I said that Koichi Zenigata (lupin III) was the best and they had no idea who the hell he was. It's the fans taht turn people away from that series, and gives other otaku's a bad name.

You have a point about the fans, however, it shouldn't really be in a review about the series, because the series was not made by the fans, so really, if you're going to mention them, it should only be in passing. It should not be the focal point of your review.

True, that is why i picked to do death note as the short form. After looking at the list of anime, i knew that the order of most reviewed, from great to least, would be Death Note, Gurran, Mononoke, Ouran. I knew that most people would use death note as the Long form, and would say how great it was. I used death note as my short form, said that it was good, highlighted what was good about it, than just said that the fans are what can turn people away from the series. It was hard to do that with only 200 words, but i think i did decent enough. Oh and if anyone's woundering, i did my long form on Ouran, that and death note were the only full series they had at the libery.
