The only real trouble I'm having right now is trying to scale a photo to work properly. Having a hard time trying to get my picture to work.

Anyways, won't just leave the thread like that. And I don't want to start my spree back as a troll, so I need to think of something constructive for OT...Hm......

Got it.

I used to be an adventurer, but-... Just Kidding

I've been tall pretty much all of my life, since roughly the age of I'd say, five. I'm about 6'6" now and I hit my head on every damn thing at work. However, I do enjoy my size as it has served me well in my life (high school sports, suit fittings, being able to see over obnoxious people in the cinema, etc.). Although, there is always one thing that leaves me scratching my head. Why are people so intimidated by tall/stout folks? That majority of us seem like pretty nice people!

'Cause all they see when they look up is a giant. Silhouetted by the sun.

I've been fairly tall my entire life as well. From about grade 3 (age 9 - 10) I was starting to pass the other kids. Now I'm 6'3/6'4, however people seem to be catching up, so maybe I'm now considered average. :/

I am about 5'5", I've never been 'tall'. Not quite sure what it's like.
May be hell in crowded areas when it's raining with all the umbrella corners at eye-level, or at least face-level.
So...*raspberry*

I have (almost) always been the tallest person in the room, and even on the very, very few occasions I'm not the tallest, I'm clearly the biggest by quite a margin.

I'm 6'8" tall, and I thoroughly enjoy it almost all the time. The only time I find it to be an inconvenience is when I hit my head on something, and that's usually more me cursing out whoever put the stupid doorframe/light/pipe/etc too low in the first place.

Aga, do you ever have trouble trying to chat with people when you're NOT sitting down? That seems to be my problem. Approaching someone at a stride almost always shuts people down for me.

I'm 6'4 and it drives me nuts trying to find clothes that I feel comfortable wearing. Aside from that I like being tall. I have a longer stride so I don't have to walk as fast when with other people, my height makes it easier for me to see, and be seen by people in a crowd. And it's hilarious watching people try to ride my bike.

Tallest chick I dated was 6'1", but it was a physical ailment so meh. Lol

Honestly Ill have to agree with the person who said I'd block the sun. That sounds about right. Then again, I wouldn't change my size for anything. If they don't want to get to know me, not worth my time.

I ALWAYS have a problem finding clothes. They either feel roomy around the crotch and too tight around my ankles, or vice-versa, LOL

Well I've had experience of being tall, short and average height. I'm 6'0 (or 183cm) and so in the UK I'm about average, if not slightly taller than the average. However when I was in the west of China I was a literal giant and I was one of the tallest people in the entire town I was living in. I was so tall relative to China that the Chinese name given to me translate to tall!

Its much more fun being tall, though buying clothes in China was not an option. In the west of China they don't really have clothes for a tall, overweight westerner.

Conversely when I was in the Netherlands I was on the shorter side of life. I even had a number of female friends who towered over me, this was not something I was used to. The Dutch (and the Germans for that matter), seem to be giants dwarfing puny Brits like myself.

I didn't like having to talk up to people, nor did I like playing sports against such giants, they have an advantage.

Mother of God...

To the Netherlands!

Tall women are such a rare find, I must catch one in their natural habitat!

My cousin spent roughly 2 years in China and he had the time of his life. He's barely 6' tall and even he said he was like a god among men. He said being a white male westerner he would get invited randomly to parties and openings at bars and what not because it makes the place look good. Seems like I need to go to China too, Lol.

You know, I used to be that way. But then I saw the intro movie to Saints Row: The Third Initiation station. The flat chested chick on the left I was 10x more attracted to than the chick on the right. Not to say I don't dig short chicks with large breasts, but this girl didn't need any, Lol.

6 Feet, 6 Inches. So roughly 2 meters and a few centimeters. Lol, If I was taller than a 2 story house we'd have a problem. I'd have to get into porn. Ahem, pardon me..

I'm around 195 cm tall, or 6,4"(I think...), and I love it. I enjoy it when people stare at me and no one has dared to pick a fight with me ever since I got so tall.

Then it became "Football, nao."

Being 5'4" a lot of people are tall to me. I'm not intimidated by them, but it probably seems like it because I'm always tense around them. Tall people, please look down when you walk. I'm sick and tired of being body slammed by giants because they didn't notice me. I have elbowed several people in the crotch because they got to close (I didn't hit them, I just stuck my elbow behind me a bit and they walk right into it, it just happens to be a that level most of the time.)

I do my best to keep eyes-down when I walk. I dont like it when people go face-first into my junk. Makes me feel terrible because sometimes I knock people down. Then I think "Well shit, there goes my chances of grabbing a coffee with her."

The head hitting is a real pain the arse (6' 5" here) as is the public transport with seats designed for people of no more than 5' tall.

The rest is pretty awesome though yes.
