Its not oblivion with guns, you need to actually find places before you can quick travel, you can dismember people, and there are less quests.

For the most part, yeah, it was a solid game that made up some 28-38 hours of awesome...

Then I finished the Main Quest and the thing deflated in my mind like a popped balloon.

I'm healing... slowly. Here's hoping the DLC they release in March will revise my problems with it.

i know i definitely didnt like the fact that you could not continue after the main quest but yes their is supposed to be a raider main quest anda lvl cap increase to 30 so i think it should be pretty good again

Yes, it's a masterpiece.
I'd say masterpiece is too strong a word; it's far too flawed to be considered a masterpiece. Not only is it buggy, but it suffers from the same problem that most/all open world games suffer from; in order to maintain the openness your actions really don't seem to have much impact, which spoils the immersion somewhat.

That said, I think it is an excellent game; an interesting, varied world, some good stories and characters, and genuinely immersive and gripping (except for the ending....)

I thought it was OK.
I beat it once, playing through many (Though not all) of the side-quests. But, unlike Oblivion, I didn't play through it more then once...and I didn't have any desire to. You couldn't really have a broad range of characters with Fallout 3, unfortunately.

Pretty fun I suppose. I guess my expectations were rather high and Persona 4 was a tough act to follow. Plus I was disappointed with V.A.T.S. It may get better but right now the hit % is way to low to even bother using it. I'm hoping the ending isn't too bad though, at least since I know the bad ending I can brace for it.

Yeah, liked it, finished it (was annoyed at the level cap mind). Have PS3 version so no DLC for me ... move on I guess.
