I usually sleep in my best friend who happens to be male bed when I stay over there with him because his brothers take up the couch space.

best way to get around the gap in pushing two beds together, turn them so theyre both facing horizontal instead of vertical.put a blanket underneath the sheet and you shouldnt feel the middle bit at all :)

It depends who you share your bed with

Even though I'm as twitchy and blanket hogging as the rest of you she was so comfortable to sleep with. Like a hug in a mug.

Depends....

I came from a very "low income" home so growing up shareing a bed and the entire bedroom was common for me until I was in High school. Becuase of my experences...I do feel alittle protective of my personal spaces and who's in them.

I don't mind it. I've co-slept since I was little. And Currently, I share a bed with my sister. I'm used to having someone there. But recently my boyfriend has been bugging me to spend the night with him because he wanted to cuddle and fall asleep in each other's arms. I don't know if I can do that. At least not right away. That sort of thing would take getting used to. I may be used to sharing my bed but I'm not used to cuddling or touching. I'm used to "You stay on your side, I'll stay on mine.". He didn't like hearing that and wanted to know what kind of person doesn't want to fall asleep in another person's arms.

When I was younger, in my preteens and early teens I thought that sharing my bed with a romantic/sexual partner would be wonderful. Almost like having a living stuffed animal that loves you.

And then I started doing it and I realized just how much I can't stand sharing my bed. I hate not being able to turn over when I want to and to have to do it very carefully so as not to disturb whoever is in the bed. Then there is snoring, cover stealing, people taking the spread eagle position and forcing you to sleep in a chair or jab them in the chest. Speaking of which, ever smack your bedmate and pretend to be a sleep to stop them snoring? So does anyone actually like sharing their bed or is it just me and my selfish ways?
I like it, but not all the time. It's good occasionally. The benefit of having someone to cuddle is outweighed by the fact that another human in the bed can sometimes be a distraction depending on their sleeping habits. But then if you've had sex first you should be tired enough to fall asleep fairly fast anyway.

My bed at home is too big for one person and too small for two to sleep in, so no, I don't like sharing it (unless it's for... you know :p).

If I had a bigger bed I wouldn't mind, but my bedroom is pretty small and if I'd put in a bigger bed there wouldn't be enough room to put all my other stuff in and still have a decent amount of empty floorspace, so a bigger bed isn't really gonna happen until I move someplace bigger.

I have sleeping problems, as soon as whoeever is in my bed stops talking/snuggling I tend to get really bored and lurk for a while then get up and do something else, needless to say, I've been told I'm pretty annoying to share a bed with, and I can't really argue with that, trying to get to sleep is just so... boring.

Still, until they decide to be boring and sleep, sharing a bed can be pretty fun :p.

Depends, my ex always pushed me out of bed in her sleep.

However I'm sure someone who doesn't do that to me is welcome in my bed. Just not a guy

It really depends on the size of the bed. I have trouble sharing a twin bed (especially with a girlfriend - they are distracting!) but a queen or king is fine. I don't move at all while I sleep, and I snore very softly, so I don't have the usual problems.

Yeah, the sex definitely helps. The trick can be to fall asleep faster than your bed mate so that you're not trying to fall asleep while dodging limbs and heavy flopping. I've spent years trying to turn over carefully so I didn't disturb my boyfriend; just a few months ago he told me that I've never woken him up. Ever. I sleep much better now.

I like sharing my bed, but only with my girlfriend. Never with anyone else. There was this period where all we had was a twin-sized mattress in her room. Now that I'm in college, quite away from her, twin-sized beds are just freaking huge without her.
