I mean just because they're for little kids doesn't mean they're bad right? so far my favorite kids movies are The Land Before Time, The Lion King 1 and 2 (I cried), Alpha and Omega (I cried), WALL-E and some others I cant remember. So what are your favorite kids movies if you even still watch them and do you think they can still be taken as seriously as more mature movies?

I love kids' movies. The Land Before Time, Up, and Monsters Inc. are a few of my favorites.

It's always been ritual for my mom and me to watch Olive the Other Reindeer every year around Christmastime, so that's probably my absolute favorite.

Technically every single Pixar movie I've enjoyed (save for Cars/Cars 2 which I have not bothered with), but EVERYONE loves them.

Pixar movies (except Cars 1/2),
I Do understand the hate for the Cars movies, but I loved the 1st one. It might have been the tender emotional feelings I had when I saw them (came off a breakup), but I adored Cars, it was cute, and it's the 2nd to last performance of Paul Newman (One of those small "Mater" cartoons they show at the beginning of some movies was his last), and it's the only time Larry The Cable Guy is Tolerable in character.

If I have to throw a Pixar movie under the bus, it's Finding Nemo. Then Probably the Incredibles, and then A Bug's Life.

OT: I still watch Kids Movies, but I try to avoid watching the same ones over and over and find the ones I have ever seen, like The Neverending Story. I hadn't seen that movie until I was 17, and it was a shocker to me. I couldn't get over how much I had cried by the time it was over.

So yes, I do watch kids movies when I can.

Pixar movies are fun for all ages, as are Studio Ghibli movies (which almost ARE Pixar movies, since John Lasseter exec-produces and distributes them over here). The classics of Disney aren't half bad either, nor are some of the better Dreamworks offerings (I still maintain that Kung-Fu Panda is damn near good enough to BE a Pixar movie).

If they're well-made, I have some sort of nostalgic connection to them, or they're so terrible that they're enjoyable, sure.

No need to exclude a particular genre (does it count as a genre?) of film.

I have the entire soundtrack to Mulan on my iPhone, and my ring-tone for one of my friends is Hakuna Matata.

I also just watched How to Train Your Dragon for the nth time and caught Monster house on Teletoon.

Also; does Ponies count?

As long as it's not a 'family' movie that's going to be predictable, hit me. I'm a childhood fan of many of Pixar and Studio Ghilbi's works.

Depends on the movie. WALL-E and winnie the pooh? HELL YEAH

But for instance mars needs moms? I think I'll jsut back away slowly...

Really just depends on what it is and how they protray it as a kids movie (I can usually trust pixar)

You make it very hard not to break out into the "we are men" song... We tend to sing that in Masque and Sandal to reinforce our masculanity XD

Pretty much all the old Disney movies, Aladin and Lion King being my favorites. Recently though How to Train Your Dragon was very good.

When I was little, I watched the Lion King because it was funny.
Now, I watch it because it's epic. Seriously, when it first came out, I was way too young to appreciate just how great a story it is.

Yes, I know they basically lifted the plot straight out of Hamlet. I also don't care.
