I like it. I don't love it. It's not my pasion or anything but I don't get up in the morning with any bad feelings about where I'm going and I can have fun if I'm not on annoying project.

I don't like what I do, but I like what I do on the side, amateur film making and other arty things.

I'm salesman / account manager for around 200 customers. I think it's the easiest job in the world. Sure, it's got some bad sides to it, but hell; all I basically have to do is get people to like me and buy stuff from me. I like getting people to like me, it's what I always try to do anyway, so why not use that to make money for me?

I'd rather be a full-time music / audio producer, but heck. Can't have it all.

Right now I'm doing two things. I'm a full time detective for crimes against property (robberies/burglaries/fraud) and a professor of criminal justice. I'm busy as hell but both jobs are awesome.

It took a lot of hard work to get them. Hard work > being talented/smart

I love my job. I work 12 16 hour days a month, with an 8 day break built into my schedule every month. I work on call, from home with a company vehicle, gas card and expense acct. If nothing breaks and I get no service calls, I get paid anyway. I also get to work around the globe a few times a year on special projects, which have down time built into the projects so you can go see the tourist stuff wherever you are. What do I do you ask? I am a Field Service Technician for the Lottery. So, when you buy a lottery ticket from a terminal or scratch ticket from a vending machine that's my stuff. I started out on slot machines in a casino and worked my way into field service. Best job ever and no worries about being laid off.

I work at a Supermarket. I'm a student, and the pay is good for my age (which is 18) but It's repetitive. I don't enjoy it but it's worth it.

I was going to go to uni, but now I don't know what I want to do with my life. So...fuck.

Very good job of you. Actually, I don't have high requirement, just more free time for myself. I need to worked 8 hours a day and 5-n-half days a week, but actually I work 12 hours every day. I don't have time to enjoy my life coz I keep working all day long. Doing IT stuff means you don't have time to enjoy yourself, that why I'm considering of changing my job. I just want a more reasonable schedule.

You should really consider looking into the gaming or lottery industry. It's all IT jobs and from what I've seen the schedules different companies run are all pretty much the same. I've been doing this for 11 yrs, working on yr 12 now, and haven't looked back. I consider the money pretty good and the job security priceless. Send a PM if you want any of the company names. Good luck!
