When I was 14 a barkeep offered me booze at a wedding without even asking for ID. So I'd assume I look older than I am, combined with my fast growth spurts while I was growing up. I'm 18 now and I don't look particularly older or younger, however.

I have no picture for you but I've been mistaken for 30 twice now, With and without long hair, and I'm a considerably younger adult than that.

I look older than my age. I'm 20, people are supposed to be ID'd until they're 25. I am never ID'd unless I bring my gf with me... who is one year younger but looks about 2 years younger than her age. It's weird.

Good grief if I look as good as you two when I'm 30 I'm gonna give myself a huge pat on the back xD
I reckon I'll just look young for ages and then just wake up a wrinkled mess one day ;_;

It's always funny when my brother and I go places together, everyone assumes I'm older than he is. He's 4 years older, but due to a combination of bad hair genetics (starting losing my hair at 17), a full beard (been shaving since I was 12), glasses, and a "mature-like aire" around me (actual quote from someone) I always get older.

It's less important now really, because I'm 24, out of school and working full time so the actual numerical amount of my age is nearing irrelevancy.

Sucks for dating though. Girls my age always think I'm like, 10 years older than I am.

From what I understand I look older. I'm 24, but some say I look closer to thirty, but that's probably due to health problems. I don't mind looking older, I still have the good looks that tend to run in my family, and I'm enjoying it while it last, because people in my family look good until their mid-thirties and then we take a screaming nose dive off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

I?m 16 ¾, but I?m pretty tall; taller than my mum and about the same height as my 22-year-old sister (I think tallness might run on the male side of my family, because my older brother, father and ? I think ? a couple of my uncles are comfortably over 6 foot). I don?t shave that often, although I?m not sure whether or not I just don?t have that much hair, I?m lazy as fuck, or don?t know how the certain amount I?m ?meant? to shave (I have a habit of overthinking a lot about minor stuff, and I think I have OCD and possibly dyspraxia). I have moderate to bad acne.

I?ve occasionally been told to buy an adult ticket on the bus (or, strangely, that I should have an adult ticket, even after telling the bus driver my age), and nowadays, whenever I want to watch a 15 film at the cinema, all the person behind the counter asks me is ?Are you 16?? I reply, ?Yes?, and they let me buy the ticket without requesting my ID. When I was 15 and was recently 16, I occasionally got carded, but that might be because I mostly go to the cinema with my friend, who?s pretty short and looks about one or two years younger than his age. My friends and I know this place where they sell us booze while likely knowing that we?re underage, but they don?t care because they know us.

So that?s been the limits of my experiences with other people?s perceptions of my age. I?d say I look my age, maybe slightly older. I guess there will be no way to truly know until I?m 18, and I may or may not get carded for alcohol in other shops, and all the other adult stuff.

Wow, thanks! I dunno, for me it's mostly just been a matter of staying out of the sun as much as possible. My grandmother is 85 and she looks super for her age and is still really active, that's like, my goal in life.

I do have a ton of gray hair though, but I've been getting them since I was 6. 0:

most call me older than i am really. ever since i've been on the internet, (with few exceptions) ive not done anything that would give away the fact that i was 12, 13, 14 etc.
im only 16 right now, though im nearly 17 (another 3 months. not too close, but getting there)

even in real life, most would guess im older than i am, because puberty has had me hit the physical size of an adult about a year back, and my general manner (and small amount of facial hair. just stubble, because the hairs are to lazy to finish growing more than 1/8 inches long) has convinced nearly everyone I've met outside of a school environment to assume i am at LEAST 18 years old, if not early 20s.
there was even one time IN a school situation where i walked into class late, (there was a scheduling mix up and so the teacher for this class, which was the proper one, didn't know i was supposed to be in there). anyway, when i walked in, the teacher thought i was a college student in the wrong place, rather than one of the double-enrolled high school students in the proper place.

and then there was that one time on the train where i was asked to sign a petition to get some house rep aspirant on the ballot. that activist was having a bad day though, because i was (and still am) underage to vote, and the other few people he asked were either out of town visitors, or unregistered to vote.

also, I do not take pictures well for the most part, and because of that i have none to post. also, im not going to take one just for a thread, because i know it will wind up looking like crap.

i wouldn't worry, some people can totally rock the grey/silvery hair look. its best to just embrace it.

I look a couple years older than I am. It may also have to do with how I carry myself. Most 20 year olds aren't as level headed as I am. The oldest I've gotten is 24, unfortunately not from a bartender though.

Sure, men can, but I wouldn't say the same thing about women. What I read about women who let it go prematurely generally scares me a little.

the only example i've seen is on a woman, so i still stand by my point. i guess its a matter of personal taste though.

I have been told I look 19, which as someone who is 26 I am perfectly fine with. Want to keep it as long as possible without it looking just plain wrong.

Funny note, I had a friend who sadly went bald at 16. However, when he finally grew a beard he discovered it made him look 40 and he was never carded... ever.

So I guess there is some perks to looking older.

I'll let y'all be the judge of that.

How old do I look?
I'm 17.

20 and I remember some people assuming I'm younger than I actually am.

The fact that I'm kinda skinny doesn't really help in that regard. :p

I'm 18, currently in my first year of college, and have been told on three separate occasions that I could "easily pass" for 21. So I guess, older. When I acted in high schools, my directors said they could never cast me as a more kiddish role because I was so "manly" looking (broad shoulders, sharp facial features). Bright side is it made me easier to cast for age parts and I ended up getting to be the villain quite a bit! Life. Good times.
