Do you name your Video game Characters

When i play games i name bosses the way i think of them when ever i play Dead Rising 2 i NAME all the psycho's Differently for instance

Randy= The Gimp
Leon Bell= Douche
Chuck= Chuck Norris
Bebe= Madonna
and lastly the Seymour [the Cowboy dude] = Pig Rapist

Do you name any of your character differently to there givin names and not just in Dead Rising 2 i called Soap = Hawkie

Sometimes, but it's mostly just combinations of swears.

Mhhh, not really. Sometime if they look like, or remind me of characters from other games I'll call them that.

I normally name my characters something witty and mature. Like "Cap'n Wang".

I tend to name my characters something heterosexual, like Jack.

Nope, i never change the names. I sometimes change Summon's names in RPGs though...

I either use the default name, or use my middle name of "Curtis" as a name.
If its an actual thing though, I prefer the name "Evela" to anything else.

I usually don't because the one time I did it on my first tun of Chrono trigger and when looking at FAQs had no idea who was who.

Though I changed Ashely to Ash in Wild Arms 2 because it felt weird calling him Ashely

I named my FFVII characters after me and my friends the first time round, and profanity the second time. My female elf mage in Dragon Age was named after my girlfriend.

I have a friend who has a strange habit of naming his RPG characters after serial killers or Neighbours characters, resulting in a series of Oblivion characters called Ted Bundy, Fred West and Lou Carpenter.

I keep them their default names. If I have to choose a name for my playable character it's usually something original and interesting, like J.

Not usually but when I do for the most part I'm playing Pokemon and it tends to be different variations of penis jokes. If I'm playing a game where I have to give them a name like Oblivion or DA:O I tend to grab my battered copy of A Game of Thrones and mix and mach names.
