I've never been one to nap. Sleep is great and all but I enjoy being awake so much more and actually doing stuff... or so I thought. As of late, if i'm just here at home, I tend to nap for maybe 2 or 3 hours at a time and it's refreshing but then I add that to my 7-8 hours of sleep and I feel like a lazy sob :(. So question, do you like to nap during the day? How long do your naps usually last?

Napping always makes me feel crummy afterward. I have no idea why; but I always feel like ass when I wake up from a nap.

After work this summer, I generally did.

I don't while at school, though. It's not as physically tiring, so there's no reason for it.

I never nap, after I nap I can't sleep and when I can't sleep I can't sleep.(It probably sounds weird saying it like that)

Napping usually screws up my sleeping schedule so I tend to avoid it. My girlfriend loves naps though. If you don't wake her up she'll remain unconscious for hours.

Nope, no napping for me since I was like 4 or so. Totally screws me over.

I don't have time for naps, but I wish I did.
I love sleep,
although I make sure I get enough sleep at night, I still feel tired.

I hate naps.
I always feel like shit afterwards, no matter how long it is or how tired I am beforehand.

Pretty much this. Let's see if this sounds familiar: You feel heavy headed for the rest of the day, your taste buds are numbed for a while, and everything sounds way too loud, no matter what it's volume?
If so, then yeah, naps do the same thing to me.

No, hardly ever. The only times i'll ever nap are when i'm really unwell, have a bad headache or am extremely tired.
...or when i'm really bored.

Naps are usually just a waste of time!

Not anymore (I used to when I was younger). Well I do rest my eyes but I rarely fall asleep from doing that.

something like that. After I wake up I feel like my head weighs a million pounds, I feel sluggish, and overall I feel completely apathetic. It saps any desire to do anything but stare into the middle distance for a bit, and the world always seems way too bright.

It's a bit like being hung over, but without feeling like old death.

Yeah, that sounds right. Only, I don't know what being hung over is like, so I'm afraid I can't weigh in there.

Sometimes.

Not counting the power naps I've had on a ride to somewhere, I'll sometimes pass out and end up napping for 3 hours with no idea when I dozed off.

Gosh guys, I feel like a tired old man enjoying my naps :p
Likewise!

I can't nap during the week, but you can bet I do on Saturdays (don't on Sundays unless I'm really knackered). The day I work and my insistence on keeping up with my hobbies means that I get five hours of sleep a day tops, so when the weekend comes around, I'm really tired. But the thing is, by biological clock still insists on waking me up at six in the morning, so six in the morning I wake up on the weekends as well. Spend a few hours mooching around until after lunch... eh, I'll get me some shut eye, think I deserved it. Next thing I know, bam! it's six in the evening! -_-

Occasionally I'll take a nap, though that's only when I feel sick (flu, headache, bad cold etc.) or if I couldn't sleep the night before.

Only really because of lack of sleep at night I guess and to try and get my days sleep up to at least 7 hours.
