Do you normally finish the story or complete everything?

i tend to play through the first time and complete EVERYTHING and then come back again and play later with a completely different style. like flying through ME2 as an infiltrator/paragon, then coming back as a shotgun wielding vanguard/renegade

or going from a good jedi sentinel to a bad jedi guardian in KOTOR (not completely the opposite but guardian is a lot more sword wielding heavy)

i just play the game from start to end , anything besides that for like trophies or other stuff ill never do like pokemon, i should collect all pokemon but i never do not since the first pokemon games.
i just train a couple and i go through the story defeat the league and then it goes into the closet collecting dust
or like gta 4 kill all the pidgeons and fly under all the bridges it has nothing to do with the story so i ignore them :well exept for the heart in the statue i had to see it: they have nothing to do with the story and as such are not important

story is dumb cuz its all about gameplay cuz most people think that story is good but story is for movies and tv shows, i usually complete everythin without even tryin cuz im jus naturally good i guess
Is this, serious?
All I know is that it hurt my brain to read.

I ALWAYS try to finish the story, and will rarely start a new game until I finished the one I'm playing, but as far as collectibles go, I usually ignore them unless they're fun to get, or add something to the story. Same goes for side missions.
