I have the Winged Dragon of Ra, if that means anything to you. Though I'm planning on donating it to LittleKuriboh if he continues his "Card games for charity" thing, which means that selling it is out of the question. :)

Great thread!

I own a Tori Amos limited edition CD, though I doubt it's hard to come by.

And I have a Sailor Moon video with the first three episodes in Swedish. Impossible to come by.

I own Paper Mario and Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64.

I remember reading in a magazine when it came out (I think I was only about eight at the time) that only a stupidly low number of Paper Mario cartridges were being released in Europe so it got put on my Christmas list. Through some complicated connections, my family was able to get me a copy and, on Christmas day, some guy who had traced our details from the shop came to the door and offered me £200 for it which I declined. Still contains everything, all in perfect condition.

Conker's BFD was a game that I came across by accident in a rental place years ago and loved it. When they were cleaning out, it was the first thing to go. Fast forward seven years later and I get a perfect condition PAL version for Christmas (Christmas has basically become N64 Cartridge day for me) off my mum. Through a bit of pestering, I found out that she got it for £10 off Amazon and the guy genuinely didn't know or care what he had, he just wanted to get rid of it. I checked on eBay and it turns out that a fully boxed version of it is quite a rare find indeed (in fact, when I got it there were none and at present there's only the one).

Oh, I've also been told that Banjo-Tooie is kind of rare in PAL form at least and I got that last Christmas. Don't know if that counts but yeah, throwin' it out there anyway.

EDIT: Can't believe I forgot this, I also have a mint condition collection of 'Pikachus from around the world' that came out years ago. Not a clue how rare they are but I get to say I have a Surfing Pikachu and a Birthday Pikachu.

Well, this isn't really a gaming or movie thing, but I own a tribal stick passed down through the healers of this tribe in Papua New Guinea. It was given to my grand-uncle who was a missionary, when he saved the tribal chief from Malaria, which the healers couldn't cure him of. They figured that he was better then they ever could be, so he deserved the stick. He gave it to me when he died.

It's about 2500 years old. I keep it in my room. I must take a picture of it actually.

EDIT: Here's a picture or two!

Now, this might sound like spiritual crap, but there definitely is a certain aura off it. Maybe it's just me.
Shouldn't that stick be in a museum or something?

I think the rarest thing I've got is a piece of the Berlin Wall my Uncle picked up when he was in Germany.
I've also got a Cricket Ball that has been inlade with a little plaque that describes how my Great Grandfather won a local Cricket match be bowling out 10 batsman for 10 runs. If you know Cricket, then you know that's an awesome feat. Not much monetary value, but a Massive amount of sentimental value. Literaly passed down the familly through each generation

I have a collection of 16 hand carved or hand molded masks from around the world including two Noh masks, a Kenyan tribal mask that I saw carved and painted over two days, a wooden mask from the Caribbean that looks like a face from a Picasso and a Venetian Carnival mask of a crescent moon.

I had but gave away as a gift a collection of 13 volumes of the plays of Henrik Ibsen published only 5 years after their initial translation into English.

I also own Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy 2+3, Chrono Trigger, E.V.O and Earthbound for Snes.

Shadow of the Colossus was rare, but i suspect Last Guardian might have triggered some restocking because i've seen quite a few copies pop up from out of nowhere recently.

Jet Set Radio Future is supposedly quite rare too, but annoyingly when i had during a "trading in" phase. I bought it like 3 times but always traded it off for new games.

Surely you mean 'Mega Ultra Chicken', right? :D

Thought of a few more bits I have. I too have an Ancient Mew Pokemon card. I bought the PS2 Yu-Gi-Oh game 'Duelists of the Roses' years back, and it came with Alpha, Beta and Gamma the Magnet Warrior cards which I still have in their wrapper. Also in their wrappers, I have an Edition 1 Machamp Pokemon card and Elvish Champion and Serra Angel M:TG cards from the 8th and 9th Edition Core Games respectively. I've also got a New Zealand $1 coin with the One Ring on it from the LOTR films, still in mint condition. Sadly NOT in mint condition, but I also have a Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon card which I got from the DVD of Yu-Gi-Oh: The Movie.

I have a ceramic water jug from Nazi Germany. It has a stamp on the bottom (a picture of an Eagle clutching the swastika, a crown and it says Bavaria 1941). I think my great grandfather brought it from Germany where he was in captivity.
