Do you "own" your username?

If I just type 'Vrex' here are the two things that most commonly appear:

... neither of which is what I based my username on.

However if I type 'Vrex360' I get first a message that asks if I mean 'Vox360' or 'Vr360' but then where it says 'Vrex360' all I get is stuff to do with my account on the Escapist. If I type it into an image search I get pictures that I uploaded.

I think the top results on google for Kermi are my user profiles on a variety of message boards, and a German whitegoods company.

The first link that comes up is for my profile page(unsuprising as the digits after my name is my D.O.B), the second link is my posts, after that, its all Hellsing and Castlevania, which isn't a bad thing

Pretty much. When you Google Dommyboy, several of my profiles will appear. I feel somewhat special. I use it as my online name whenever I can, I even have a dog tag with it engraved into it.

Well...I know I don't own fuckwit, so that's out of the question. So I googled my original internet name, which is Amosinn and sure enough, I got 2 pages of results which were me. Now Virgil, which is my most recent name and my name for the future is a "real" name so I doubt I would get anything of me. Even if it's a tad rare.

And for all of you who want to ask me why I named myself "fuckwit", I like sarcasm.
