Oh totally, its environmental and economical, like car pooling!
The immature part of me decided to read that as 'car pooing' and I giggled. It's 6.30AM. That's my excuse.

OT: No, the idea never sits right with me. Especially as I'm in a student house, so we gotta share that shower. It's unclean enough already.

I mean consistency as in: If you want to talk about saving water by peeing in the shower then save water by taking a dump there too.
That's maybe a misguided exhortation, seeing as - beyond the fundamental part of them being waste products ejected from the body - they're somewhat different things. One's a normally-sterile fluid, a dilute suspension of urea, salts, and trace amounts of other things. The other is fairly solid, generally insoluble and indigestible food residue, full of bile salts and teeming with gut bacteria, particularly E Coli.

You wouldn't shit in a urinal... but it's fine to piss in one, even though the shower has a much greater flow of water and soap going down it.

really... just do your thing in the toilet, especially if you live with other people or even just one other person. I see anything except cleansing and fornicating in the shower as a faux pas >_>
Ah, well this is where I have the advantage. Currently I live alone, and I own the property (or more accurately, I have it on hire-purchase from the bank that owns it ^_^) rather than renting. The bathtub is my own to do with what I will, muhahaha. And before that, I was the sole user of the particular bathroom in which I showered, as the other residents of the shared house had their own en-suite room.

All the same, I only indulge in such behaviour as a time-skimming desperation tactic, and make sure the bath is cleaned regularly anyway, particularly if I intend to actually bathe in it (rare!) or wash large items in there. Pissing in there every time without cleaning will lead to nasty build up of uric and other salt deposits, discolouring the bath material and making it smell funny. And as I said before, though the stuff comes out clean unless you have an infection, it's a prime breeding ground for nasties unless you get rid of it quickly.

It's not people who pee in the shower that're the problem, it's the people who crap in the bath...
For the last time: I can't fucking help it.

OT: No, because that's insane. Insane.

If I need to, sure.

But I usually don't have to. I don't shower the minute I get up. I do pee the minute I get up.
