Also some friends of the family had a conversation in flemish with Kim Clijsters while we were at wimbledon.

A bit of a stretch but my sister went to school with a descendant of shakespeare.

I've met Gabriel Iglesias a few times. He's a pretty cool guy to hang out with, not like those celebrities who sign an autograph and shove you away.

I personally have not, but my mom has met Whitney Houston(famous singer), the Houston Rockets(back when Hakeem Olajuwon played), Christopher Reeve(yes, the original Superman), amongst other people I can't remember at the moment.

My best friend's ex girlfriend's cousin is Linda Cartalinni. She played Velma in the first live action scooby doo movie.

She was quite hot. ^_^

In real life, I've met Ric Flair, Jim Cornett & the Midnight Express (all at a Denny's in charlotte, NC, waaaaaay back in the WCW days).

It blew my little 8 year old mind. Also, Ric Flair had mad honeys.

Depends on how famous you're talking. If you mean international celebrity then no. If you mean people well known within certain genres/circles then yes, I know a handful and am related to one. I'd prefer to leave out details if you don't mind.
