I used to play Ultima Online, though.
My char was the most powerful mercenary and swordsman of the land (i.e. free shard) and defeated the greatest of the dark sorcerors of his time...
I kept his head and spellbook as reminders.

Now I play Guild Wars, I have 10 characters (One of each profession) all level 20 except my elementalist and mesmer.

I had been trying various MMO's for the last couple months, partially to understand how these games work and partially to pick up a hobby besides surfing pornography. Thus far, my findings are not very good. Most of the games I have tried were unremarkable and there was no reason to have to play any of them online since I never had to deal with the social aspect. Partially because I'm an antisocial prick, but also because MMO players are antisocial pricks as well.

So, I'm questioning if this hobby is a good choice for me. Particularly since I never use the defining feature.
