Do you play games while it is storming?

I save like theres no tomorrow as I play. I also throw open my blinds so I can watch the storm as well.

I live in the UK and our storms are pretty tame, so yeah, I do play games. In fact, the only thing I don't do that I normally would is go outside.

I love the atmosphere that the sound of heavy rain gives, especially with the window wide open at night.

In fact rain is my favourite weather, I love it.

Also I live in Britain, never had a blackout due to weather as long as I remember.

I never play in a storm, in fact I unplug my computer... you get lots or surges and brown/blackouts in a storm, very bad for the health of your equipment.

All the time. When it's storming out, I save my game on my console or PC, turn off the machine, and I grab my DS. Perfect time killer when I'm waiting for the rain to end.

i never have that problem but im kinda more immersed in the excperience when its storming... i dunno why

If it's just raining, then yeah I play. We don't get many thunderstorms, and they never last very long. I just wait it out. I refrained from running on the treadmill the other day because lightning was bad around here. Of course, hearing stories of treadmills coming to a sudden stop due to a power surge sticks on my mind in that case.

I live in florida as well and had the same problem. Get a battery back-up. That way you can either keep playing or have enough time to save your game and turn everything off properly.

The only time I don't play games is when there is life threatening weather. Since the only thing around here are tornadoes, I play during thunderstorms all the time. Power goes out, it goes out, and I play my handhelds, or god forbid, talk to the rest of my family.

Very much so, even when it's lightning outside.

Thus far, I only lose power when my entire house glitches and loses power, and I do save often, so playing in bad weather doesn't really bother me.

I live in the UK, and during the rare times it does storm, I find myself watching it outside my window. I find rain and thunder quite therapeutic (when I am indoors that is), so no, I don't play games in a storm usually. Mind you, in the UK, the storms aren't really that damaging, in fact, they are quite tame.

Howdy fellow floridian! Tampa here, and we sure do get our fair share of storms! I have a gaming/work pc and a laptop... so when it storms, little Ms. Expensive gets shut down and I switch to laptop mode.
