I enjoy golf, but I'm bloody terrible at it. I can do a half decent drive.... unfortunately, that's about all I can do.
Driving is the fun part anyway! Who needs those wussy short shots?

Yea, playing through a course can make for a pretty good day, but going to a driving range is much cheaper and still pretty damn fun.

No, but I'd like to. It seems rather relaxing, really. Especially driving.

Someone hasn't seen Nadal and Federer duke it out. That shit is almost Dragonball Z-style tennis. Both the Roland Garros semi-finals of today were anything but boring.

Strangely, most people I know of, when playing golf, get really really pissed off for one reason or another...

I used to play primarily for cathartic reasons, but now I have neither the time nor the money...

I play all the time used to work on a course. Prolly play like 2-3 rounds a week when I am in the U.S. It's my favorite sport because it's really always a competition against yourself. To mentally overcome one bad shot, know your limits and work around what the course puts in front of you. It reminds me of a video game that each time you play the same course it can be a little different. Based on your approach. It also has different skills like driving, course management, putting, and my worst is chipping. Trying to be good at everything is almost impossible. Not to mention betting is really fun in golf. Watching on TV can sometimes be fun but I usually watch it to take a good nap cause I watch the pros swings and how they approach a hole.

Baseball. Blows both out of the water. It is the only sport in history that is not only boring to watch, but also boring to play.

I golf all the time. Well, I used to, haven't had the time for it since I went to college. However, I know what it feels like to shoot a great round. In the 7th or 8th grade on my school team I normally shot in the high 40s in practice, and the low 50s in my matches(9 holes). One day during a home match, I absolutely tanked the first 4 holes, I was like 10 over par, and then I played the best 6 holes of my life. I was one over par for those 6 holes. It's an amazing feeling, I was on cloud 9 for a solid 2 weeks.

No. No I don't play Golf but I used to do mini-golf when I was a kid and you could find mini-golf places outside of vacation spots. It was always more frustrating than fun but there was always a sort of satisfaction in getting a hole in one. As for traditional golf...I don't know of anyplace to go other than driving ranges that would let me onto their premises and to sign up for a membership would likely cost me more money than I may end up making in this lifetime. Or so the stereotype goes anyway...Also I consider it to be boring.
